1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

PS4 Setup inconsistencies

From the first release for consoles I have seen setup inconsistencies.
I have just passed them off as bugs that would be corrected, but they still pop up frequently.

The one I'm addressing today is on the BMW M235i Racing. The right rear camber cannot be set to a negative number, but the left side can. I am not enough of a racing mechanic to say that this is normal, but most non oval setups are symmetrical.

On other cars some setup parameters show no change in the left column when making changes in the right column.
Some cars the setup parameters increment in hundredths, which is very slow, while most increment in tenths.
I have not kept track of all of the setup parameters that are not logically right, but maybe its time they are all compiled.

EDIT addition: Here is one example
On the Corvette C7 the camber adjustments instantly show in the left column
The Corvette C7R the left column shows no changes in the camber.

If this should be registered someplace else, I accept correction.
Also is just listing the car and parameter enough or is more information needed?
I did a search, but could not find a specific spot to log this.
I wish the forum would allow me to go back and add to my original post after more than a couple of hours!

I think what you talk about is because the changes you see is dependent on the ground the car is standing on. You see it in real time, or how to explain it. If the ground where the car is standing isnt totally flat, you wont see the exact numbers.

I thought setups were done in the pits where level flat pads are provided!
On some cars I can use the min/max buttons on a parameter that has a reading in the left column and there is no change shown.
And yes I do press the enter button to accept the change.

Not all pits are level... if you guys have the drag strip track(s) in the console version, those are nice and flat IIRC.

On the PC, as a physics modder, I use one of a few different test "tracks" with a known level surface to do all of my suspension setup. Most racetrack pits are unsuitable.

Thanks for the input, but console units do not have the Drag race function, even though it was advertised during pre release.
And I understand where your input came from a sub comment I made.

My main question was "why can't both sides rear camber be set to the same value"?
I'm nor referring to the reading in the left column, but the setting in the right column.
Someone please try the BMW M235i and see if other units exhibit this condition.

    Yes please.
Would be great if Kunos the various inconsistencies in the setup of cars. For me, which ones I care about the most; rear wing levels in 2013 & 2015 Ferrari F1's, and camber settings on Lotus Exos.

Some of the Porsche DLC cars have an issue with the rear right camber. You can only adjust it to 0° and not to a -° like the rear left !

I guess we have to wait for Kunos to release on consoles all the fixes already available on PC.
