Who are we?

We are a group of normal people that enjoy racing simulators, good clean fun, online and offline racing.
We have recently entered into the world of Assetto Corsa, and are building momentum.
We accept all drivers of all abilities to join us to have some fun on short races, long races and Hot Lap Challenges.

We have certain rules and guidelines, like every other community, but we are always here to help, guide and where possible, help you become the online sim driver you want to be.

We have a few in house "aliens" as well, and their experience has proved invaluable, sharing setups and general help.

We are currently running our first season of the Hot Lap Challenge. This consists of 12 rounds, changing the car and the track each week, to make it challenging and demanding for all drivers.

The Challenge runs from Tuesday until Sunday (22:00GMT) and Monday is used to post results and reports. We try to make these as entertaining as possible.

We have 25 drivers signed up and taking part so far, but there is nothing
stopping people joining mid way through.

We have two dedicated servers provided by Rackservice, both running sTracker.

Server 1 is used for the HLC, and Server 2 is used as a public server, which is currently running Thruxton and the Ginetta G55, but will also be used for series events.

We also have a full Team Speak server, but we encourage to keep talking during live races to a minimum.

Although this is our first attempt at an Assetto Corsa series, I personally have lots of experience in running online leagues, as I used to run the ESL UK LFS League, which had prizes up for grabs, so this is very much work in progress.

I have fully tested a Live Stream as well, so can hopefully stream live events as they happen,
which will appeal to the wider audience when a full series begins, something MotorsTV is interested in for their 3D Motors program.

We are currently going through a domain change, so the forum is fully functional, while the front/home page is being worked on.

I can personally vouch for the fact that Shaun will hunt and bully you into submission until you are ready to sign up to SRP and the racing.

 

I've been a member of SRP for a long while now. Having trailed around at the back of the mid-pack in several of their leagues and events, I can say you'll struggle to find much better run, or better organised, sim-racing competitions anywhere.
