Generic So far for me best track/car combo......(competition possible?!))

Yesterday I've tried Nordschleife + Pagani Zonda R, TC off, stock setup and my mind/body/soul/feelings told me that this combo is the best in the game so far!!!!

What an amazing car, what sound , what amount of grip it provides on that track it's just mind blowing!!!!! Did unofficially 6:41, game didt count my lap bcoz I was somewhere on the track hitting just a bit a Barrier but it was a solid lap. With bit improved Setup I think like 4/5sec can be shaved off.l easily. Will try it definitely latter when I get home but more aggressive to hit middle 6:30isch!!!

Competition possible?!?

What you say that we start on this track with stock setup counting lap times?? But we've to be fair and square, no cheating in term setup the car and for quick AF, just use ur stock setup, and of course TC is OFF!!! Wheel/controllers are included.

As I say, my reference time is 6:41sec, and if you can post a pic or video after the lap! Let's start some things here!

I would prefer PS4/XB1 here bcoz this game on PC is bit different and the times are not equal in compare to consoles. If sim wrong then PC guys can do this one as well. Till Monday shall be the event, till 20h, winner gets the opportunity to chose another track/car combo!! Sounds good or?? If yes let the race begin.

 

Are you playing in PS4 or Xone? With a wheel or gamepad?
In Project Cars I made 6.50.3 with the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 playing with a DS4, TC and SC off. Not the best time but a good time with a gamepad. But in Asseto Corsa my times are still lower than in Project Cars. Only for reference, in Silverstone GP my times are 2.02 (PC) and 2.07 (AC) in the BMW Z4 GT3. I'll give a try with Zonda in Nords and let you know, only for fun!

Great lap bro! Time of day? Wheater? Temperature?

Propably I won´t get too close of that time...maybe 6.50, 7.00...

 

Tbh this time can be shaved off like 2/3src what u saw few laps letter. I was leading my
Ghost by 1.4sec but on some parts of the track I don't dare to go full or something near full throttle though!!! My advice is:
STAY AWAY FROM THE CERBS!!

Conditions were as the game sets up, I think it's like 13h, clear perfect for driving and I think my
Second lap is faster when the tires get the full temperature. I didn't check the tire temperature but I felt it that the second lap can be better and quicker.

Ok, my lap time was 6.41.1. I'll edit a video and upload that to youtube to show my hotlap and I show my configurations too.

I can't believe I got so close with a gamepad in default setup with no SC and TC, awesome! But I have to say, that was difficult, my hands are sweating...

Hi Grijo my friend. Super lap that was, lost the back end a little right at the end, but overall, very impressive mate.

 

If you're still learning the track or don't know all the tricks these two videos are worthwhile watching. They both cover similar things but they also point out different stuff which is why you might want to watch both.

 

Steve, my man!! How are you bro? Yeah, I lost it in final stretch, bad move lol! DS4 without TC and SC it's really difficult in AC with some cars. Its a very enjoyable combo, I drove like 6:20 on the tourist layout, haven't tried the normal layout so far.

It might provide an idea how much is possible to shave off.

 

To do a hotlap is easier than racing. A race demands more planning, control of your car and of your emotions. Maybe I could be faster in a hotlap and lose a race by a mile, who knows. If I'm better or worse I dont't know, I just like to race fast and clean with a big smile in the end, winning or losing. Good to see you too mate!

Hey bro thnx for the site but this one is completely stock setup. I'm sure that if I seri it up properly I can't drive even faster that that. 6:20 is a solid lap to be honest but as I say stock set up is not providing for the cracks grip through the fast chicanes and slow corners. But personally I'll try to beat with my own setup those 6:20
