[Solved] I need help: Trying to build a decent Simracing PC (5760x1080@60)

Not sure that’s true about the timings, all RAM I have always used XMP sets all the timings, voltage and speeds. Currently using 3200 C14 and XMP sets 14 14 14 34 at 1.35 volts as needed.

Maybe your motherboard you had had issues with XMP?

 

14 14 14 34 are your main timings. Voltage & Memory multiplier are part of xmp aswell. I wouldn't say never, but i haven't heard of sub timings being ever defined in xmp profiles, since they're much more dependant on memory chip quality (like with cpus & gpus, not every chip is equal and can reach the same bandwith/latency)

Trdrdscl/Twrwrscl, Twr and Trfc have a "big" impact on ryzen system performance - compared to intel, where memory latency&bandwith are mainly linked to the main timings and memory multiplier.

 

XMP uses the leftovers of the SPD-chip - these chips have a very limited storage to begin with, and most of it is already used to list the specifications of the module when used within the JEDEC standard. There simply isn't enough room on there to specify every single subtiming, so the board has to figure them out on POST. They can get hilariously loose, POST would have set my Trfc about 700 while I managed to get it down to 370 and still have a stable system.
