1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

[Suggestion] Steam Cloud Sync

    First of all, thanks for this great game, i'm new to sim racing but I can say that Assetto Corsa will keep me busy for a long time!
    I would like to suggest Steam Cloud Sync, it would be nice to have all my times, car setups and control configs anywhere I install AC.

    +1 Fully agree, would be a shame to lose all data , PBs, telemetry, setups etc when re-installing the game, moving to a new pc or when a drive fails. Steam cloud support would be a great addition to the game when released.

    The portion of the game that is in your "My Documents" folder should easily fit into a Steam Cloud with the exception of the Ghost Cars. Each lap is around 20 MB, which already makes my Ghost Car folder over 2 GB.

    For now, I've set up my own cloud, as I have put the My Documents\Assetto Corsa\ folder in Dropbox, which automatically syncs it between computers. Also, it is backup-ed online on the Dropbox servers...

    For now it would be senseless as each update can change the settings completly.
    Dont know if you experiencered Version 0.1 until now.
    Some updates were changing the car setups, so they got useless - changed the steering setting completly and so on.
    Thats my opinion! :p

    I see, but the cloud and workshop should happen when the 1.0 is out. Adding mods with thw workshop is so much better.

    Sometimes developers don't support Steam Cloud before the game reaches 1.0. Hopefully this is the case for Assetto Corsa since Steam Cloud really adds convenience to playing on multiple machines.

    I would love to see this too. I just bought a copy of AC for myself and another copy for my ten-year old son's steam account. Would be nice just to play on whatever computer happens to be available without regard to particular computers/Windows user accounts so that we don't accidentally overwrite each other's stats.
