1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

@ahojekk thanks for the results. I will get new RAM in the coming days (3200CL14 instead of the current 3200CL16) and will further test with and without SAM to evaluate if there is maybe some error on my side. But I did two runs and now after seeing your results I wonder maybe there is some error or the 6800 handles SAM just slightly better.

Those prices are crazy, I guess I can be lucky that I paid "only" 790€ for the Gigabyte RX6800.

What also is strange, you got slightly more FPS than I got with the 6800. I eventually will test again before I install the new RAM to sort any errors out.

Yeah thats also true, interesting why would 6700XT get results so close to the 6800, maybe your results will be better on a re-test.

Ive managed to grab another 6700XT, in a better version - Sapphire Nitro+ so the top tier for Radeons, and it also boosts higher than the Gigabyte. Sold the Gigabyte to my friend, and re-tested my results on Nitro+:

    1440p EPIC Preset:

    1080p EPIC Preset:

    1440p HIGH Preset:

1440p HIGH Preset - custom dash cam to compare with my Gigabyte results

So the 1080 and 1440p on EPIC are the same 0.1 difference. But on a High preset I see an improvement 122 from 118, so 4 fps on 1440p, which is either luck or maybe the boost helped here. Anyway I would say that both cards perform the same, of course Nitro+ has a better cooling but that doesnt change anything in case of performance.

I did a re test and got the same results (With and without SAM) I had in my first test run. This is really strange, the RX6800 should be faster than the RX6700XT.

What is your setting in the Radeon Software for Anti Aliasing Method? I suspect I have something wrong set there which costs FPS.

I have everything off or on "follow application settings", Freesync on "AMD optimalisation"

I checked my settings and everything is off. I guess the Radeon RX6700XT and RX6800 are close in terms of speed in ACC. I again did a test and got the same results with an increase of 13% with SAM.

I tried rBar with my 3080 and the FPS went down a bit, about 4-5.

    But I didn't start a benchmark, I'll give it a try again.

You need to force it through Nvidia inspector btw, so every game is possible.

It would be so good if the opening post got updated with all the newer cards scores, otherwise this thread is meaningless min 2021 with the 2080Ti being fastest.
@LeDude83 Hope your ok, haven't posted in a while.

How can I differentiate who is testing with single vs triple screens ?

The benchmark is done in single screen @1920x1080.

    Thanks :)

What would I expect to get (average) if I upgraded to triple 1440p (specs in signature)

  12. jbbrans

    According to this video ~50-68.

    Thanks

The streamer states 50-68 on Max ( as per the heading) ... and further down says 60 - 80 on high

I'm currently using triple 27 1080p and getting 90-130 fps

So can anyone verify would I get 60-80 on high 3 x 1440p ? If it can't i'd rather wait to get a better GPU that can do it. I'm ok with 1080p atm

    TIA

I’m at triple 1080 also but with a 3080ti. In online races or practices i get around 100.
Offline i’m cpu limited with an Amd 5800x, gpu can go back to 75% and framerate can drop to 60. This on epic.
I had a 2080ti before and was gpu limited then.

Lets face it … even if NASA was involved I’m sure they would be GPU limited too with ACC haha

What FPS do u get if changed to High settings ??

I think it sounds like it’s best to wait till I upgrade to 3080ti / 3090 before I can do triple 1440p at effective fps

Triple 1440's is 1/3 of 8k, so doable but need to lower some (probably a lot of...) settings.

    8K - 33,177,600
    '5K' - 14,745,600
    Triple 1440P - 11,059,200
    4K -8,294,400

I've never really been able to find info for triple 1440p outside of iracing which doesn't really translate.

I ran triple 1440p on a 2080ti, had to jiggle around a few settings, some high's and mediums, but for the most part could get around 70-80fps. It was "ok"
I'm not on a 3090 but still float around the 70-90fps mark, although I have been able to up quite a few more settings to make things look much better (such as shadows etc)

Okay got my hands on a MSI Gaming Z RTX 3070 and here is the difference over the 6700XT in ACC - the rest of the test-bench remains the same - the difference is pretty crazy:

Results for 1440p - default cockpit cam: other settings same as the 1st post of the topic.

In general a 30fps increase while those 2 cards are more or less on the same level in other games, Unreal Engine loves Nvidia ;)
