1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

@Christopher Low: The Autobahn is one of the safest roads in the world, so there's that :p.Usually people drive respectfully and in an organized manner there, that's the main difference.

Well, the last time I was on the Autobahn I was 12 years old...
Still, it can't be worse than the usual european highways.(looking at you Italy and France)

Didn´t get past 236 km/h yet on the Autobahn, that was still quite ok.

But I did travel on my Motorbike @210 km/h on the highway, that got quite interesting. You start to really focus on the left tail light / turn indicator of all the cars you´re passing. Though 300+ in comparison will be light speed I guess. The feeling of speed is quite exponential, I think.

I think the main reason is that the driver is obligated to drive on the right. Also people are aware that in nonrestricted Areas people may pass at high speed. And I would go so far, to say that germans in general do have decent control of the car (in terms of driving straight and not weaving). Of course there are many exceptions :p

Big features can come even though the last patch was only a month ago. A feature could have been in the works but didnt get finished in time for the last pack. Im looking forward to the change log alot and Im not trying to look cool because of that. A patch can add to the game just as much as a couple of cars, if not more.

    See this changelog:
    http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/i...rsche-pack-1-and-season-pass-available.38028/
    vs this:
    http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index.php?threads/assetto-corsa-v1-10-update-available.39379/
both are huge and only a month between them.

If you are doing 250 on the left lane and than an 80 year old granny thinks she want to change lanes or a caravan from the Netherlands does it, I wouldnt say that it is organized BUT you get used to it :p
The Autobahn is not save but on the other hand, it is something unique. So many Politician tried to change the law in this respect but no one succeed!

Agreed. Also in germany we have a quite long and expensive mandatory driving school, lots of driving lessons, 5 hours on the Autobahn in total at least if I remember correctly. My driving teacher wanted us all to go past 200 km/h, as he said it´d be better to do it for the first time with an experienced guy with a 2nd pedal set beside you.

The automotive industry would change quite a bit if a normal car wouldn´t need to go past 140 km/h anymore in Europe, and there´s the automotive lobby which isn´t that interested in a change like that. As our economics depend quite a bit on the automotive industry they have some influence. Would be interesting to see how it would turn out, if they finally do limit Autobahn speeds (It will happen some day, I guess).

The funny thing is if this happened in Assetto Corsa, many in the community would cry foul and suggest this was a physics bug.:eek::D

Did they include a ramp in the new design, so you might get further and not stick to the other car when you want to do an overhead pass?

He is not only going through quite reasonable traffic but also did not reduce speed on the slopy, curved sections where visibility is compromised.
To me at least at looks quite dangerous

That car on the other hand, damn that looks planted and stable
Well, only 6 hours until we can try it out for ourselfs:)

I think 50% (or more) of the Autobahn-km are restricted by now anyway, plus there are also zones with automated systems that allow either restricted or unrestricted driving depending on the traffic.

We had that once on the way to our vacation. There was a pretty new Autobahn which had low traffic, so my mom (yes, my mom :D) wanted to see what the car can do. At 235km/h on our speedo one ****** thought it would be good to change into our lane with like 120km/h.
A crash was barely avoided be like 10-20m, a second later and we would have crashed.

After a week long roadtrip through Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France and UK I agree. Those Belgians around Antwerp drove like total asshats.

The most dangerous thing to encounter on the autobahn are foreign trucks with less than stellar technical standard. Much too often they end up crashing into the end of traffic jams...like half of all traffic related deaths are due to those types of accidents. A few weeks ago they stopped a truck from Lithuania in Wilhemshaven that had no brakes at all, driver was just managing through engine braking.

But I think the number of people who think they have decent control is quite high compared to other countries.
Oh and the aggression level is quite high (this one is different from southern european contries) and only comparable to the England maybe.
