What is still missing in v1.0

I understand why we don't have false starts because we don't have pits for a drive through penalty. So why not in the mean time just introduce a 20 second results penalty?

Will make it now playable for now.

 

I forgot: it would be nice to have a real speedometer.

And this is a must have in any online simulator:

 

Collision detection must be fixed,it may not be if someone rams you and I fully fly away with the car and he can simply continue.

The Hitdetection must be better

 

Local real weather plugin compativility, like Microsoft flight simulator. I use REX 4.

 

I dont know if it was written before..but we need more cars in the same class. Especially road cars! I would like to have some competition between slower cars. But the Abarth 500 is faster than the Alfa Guiletta in the corners and overall, because of the semislicks. With street tires the Guiletta is faster because of the more power. There are no two road cars which you can put into competition without giving one of them a - more ore less - big disadvantage.

 

I'll just take the complaint and celebrate buttons for now. Although, lasers for backmarkers does sound nice right about now.

Having played some open wheel MP; I'll add more comments. I liked how the above was laid out and mostly agree. I'll add:

>Updated timing and scoring for MP leaderboards at the sectors at least. Two times or more per sector would be sweet.
>I've seen the MP save UI with Qualifying as an option; so that was nice. The race replay didn't work (because session tripped over?) so not much to see there. Perhaps the devs can create some time after the Race session ends to tidy everything up with stats and some chat options. It will give us time to save replays. I have not finished so high up yet; so perhaps P1-P3 get something more advanced that I haven't seen.
>Getting smashed in MP is too be expected, but something needs to be devised for kicking bad drivers or perhaps it's the lack of a penalty system (flags, etc). I know flags won't solve everything. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that you have to be in the pits to do a kick vote. Look, a lot of things are missing from the game, like acceptable multi-player, realistic rain, realistic crash, soft body physics, much improved FFB and so on.
You won't get any of these, and that's because AC suffers from the same broken business model like project cars, a model that focuses on creating content (cars and tracks), instead of focusing on improving the core experience. Project cars is even worse than AC in that respect, there are an awful lot of cars and tracks in there and it doesn't make any sense. I would rather drive only one car and track for a while, and see the core experience improved.

Another problem is that these games are intended to be finished, not like iRacing which is a continuously improved service. So there are deadlines and limited resources, and you cannot even think about advanced features, because of budget constraints and stuff.

Personally, I consider these titles only toys, and when I want to get into serious racing, I choose iRacing.

It's yoir opinion but it's easy to understand that you are from iracing stuff or throll. Well nothing that tou say it's right. But i rispect you opinion.

 

In order of importance to me

1. Proper AI, options to adjust the AI other than just setting their overall ability
2. Championship mode in game instead of having to fiddle around with ini files
3. Longer races including pit stops (I know it's coming)
4. Dynamic Weather, hard to call it a realistic sim without it
5. Better damage system

 

Things basics still missing for me:
Native app for monitoring tires temp and wear.
Native app to compare times with sectors and laps.
Possibility of adjust steering wheel lock degrees in pit.
Possibility of adjust pressure of brakes in the pit.

 

1. There is something that is too much in the game. This is the Result screen which appears after the race is finished.
There are actually 2 result screens one over another, and I would like that the 2nd one (on top) is removed - its not needed!

2. And some more info after the race is finished, lap times for each lap for each player!

3.The most important, when hotlaping, there are not sector times on the laps screen - please

4. Race shouldn`t be over as soon as someone crosses the s/f line in the race. Is`t it good to do the in-lap to pits?

 

Isn't this solved with "compact results" option in options-general page?

 

I think this is only meant for the result screen that appears when exiting the track, back to main menus.

 

Shouldn't appear the per-driver lap times list if you click on his name?

 

And another time you get hit a bit by another car and your suspension is gone and the Race is over. It's like a Damage-Slotmachine what generate's your damage. If you are lucky u dont get damage if not you get a full Damage.

With each feature they add this goe's worse and worse. Ther is no time and no money? Why then start all this stuff. It's in so much Detail's not finished. Some Car's the Cockpitlights work some other's not. Somwhere the Pit boxe's are Valid sometime's not. And if you search you can find so much fault's everywhere. It's like a Italian Car. It breaks everywhere all the time. Nice to look but very hard to fix all the Problem's if you use it all Day. So maybe it's only something to have a little fun sometime's at W-end's.

We have to wait 10 more Year's for the "Next Generation" of Race Simulator's. If these People woud stick togheter and get the Racing Community to one Game there will be load's of Money. But we need Race Room with it's great Sound, we ned PCar's with it's nice Graphic's Sound's and condition's, we need Assetto because of the Physic's and some IRacing because idk. The only Positive thing is that there is competition between theme but otherwise if these Guy's woud work togheter we woud have all feature's and all we can imagine.

If Kuno's is so small and they dont have that much of Money why they work so unproductive? Why make so much new thing's bevor finishing that what we got? Isnt it more productive to finish where you started then starting again and again? If they always have to Read back in in old content to know what they worked on last time this looses so much Time and Money. And the looser is the consumer and nobody else. Kuno's dont have to care if they finish the Game with 1000 h work or do not with 1000. Same Time spend and same Money earned. 1.0RC show's me where the Road's/Street's go and this is an fast realeas. With so much Feature's as possible to get in so much People as they can.

Im not hating i just thought we got the "Next Generation" Simulator here but it dosen't looks like we will get it. I had and have a lot of Fun with Assetto but a finished Simulator woud bring me fun for 10 Year's.

 

OMG really? i have to sell my italian cars now!

I have no words to describe the stupidity of this statement .. but however we go on : people cry because there are a few features. Now they put damage and most important pit stops.. and even that is not good because it was better to focus on other things. We are in RC and 5 years of development expect us. Trust in Kunos.

I would say

- in game chat, (not just from the pits menu but being able to chat with other players being everywhere in the track, like in GTR evo)

- drivers foot animation would be nice too, I dont think it's that hard to make considering what this small studio achieved already being just a few.

-cool matchmaking with some sort of reputation system, according to your driving style, if you're a wrecker, fine, be put with other wreckers aswell, if you drive clean, then it would be nice to be place with other clean drivers too.

OVERCAST WEATHER! I know we have a mod for that, but I dont think it's that hard to make either right Kunos? You made the greatest sim in the industry with the most accurate physics I've ever experienced, some cloudy sky can't be that hard lol

 

Stupidity? You looked in the mirror when you told that? Where did i told you to sell your Italian Car? The meaning of my statement is that you realy have to love your Italian Car. Especialy Ferrari's and other Supercar's have to be loved, maintained and nurtured. As long you can handle this and dont worry about the Time and the Money you spend (or waste) you can drive your Italian Car. It's only my oppinion and if you feel offended it's not my Problem! I just woudnt buy a Fiat Panda where the Fuel Pump is damaged after 30'000 km i mean cmon. We got Car's from the 90's where the Fuel Pump start's to get noisy after 180'000 km and the People tell you as long you hear the noise it's working. Im just trying to explaine a bit what i think with these comparison's. It's build for Eyecandy not more.
