Why not? AC official event

This is not the classic "I WANT THIS BECAUSE I WANT" topic, only some text line written by the love for our AC, for your AC, and the pride to support your work (che da italiano quale sono, vale il doppio)

As the title said: why don't you Kunos team launch an official online tournament or "event"?
I know i know, isn't your focus follow some e-sport formula or things like that.

But wait a minute:
From your side, the work would be very very minimal, for us could be an huge reason to run and to use our AC for a "higher step" compared to the classic random online races.

What your work would be: simply, just open a new topic announcement of the event whit the rules and things like that, and on some specific day set-up an your server (one of your AC-Server 00?? that now is running with random combos, nothing more).
The format of the tournament could be any what you want or what you feel can be easy to manage:
could be good just some simply race maybe similar to a BIG real race that run on that moment or so close (i mean, exos s1 on spa near the real F1 gp @ spa, or some gt3 race, or some other event you prefer...).

Sure, in this case you need to read the server datas (at least for know who is the winner, or the podium or...) but we are talking for some prefixed and "limited" race, not all the races that usually go on a normal on a 24/7 server.

What is different from an ipotetical personal server?
Well, it would be an event created by the devs, and for us the feel of the race become completely different, i don't say iRacing style but at least something near to that.
The "advertising effect" for our community and for our/your AC could be only a good benefit.
I'm not talking for many and many races, only just 1 or 2 event per year. Something that can help to feel AC more live for us simracer.

I know that probably now isn't a good moment for you, console launch and what it brings, for me is something unimaginable.
Only just considers the idea.

Maybe with the organization from a nice AC organization like ALOOG? Could do the schedule, use one of their servers, and AC Twitter/Facebook could oficially support the idea spreading the word?

 

Surely by now knowing Kunos, if they do something they will do it the proper way. Probably it's gonna be a league, with qualifications, rounds and final race. There will be a price, small or big depends on how much people gonna watch and the advertising.
I'm totally in for that, there some things which have to be done in the game for this to happen, like spectators mode etc, but whenever Kunos is ready to host and organise such a thing it will be big for them and the community.
