1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    So, the last time I posted, I told you I was going to build a PC. Well, I did it!

    I'm running the F1 2017 car on Catalunya.

    I do have a nice TX/T3PA Pro pedals, but I just wanted to try out my Elite Controller.

    I really don't know what I'm doing when it comes to capturing video, but here it is. It actually look way more buttery smooth on my pc and almost always stays locked at 120FPS. But this video card is low rent because I ran out of money. Cant even afford to pay for the Windows 10 I'm using.

    Saving for the GTX 1080 sale that's supposed to happen soon.

    What AI level is that? I'd expect even on heaviest fuel and low ERS settings 1:24-1:25s should be easily doable. I couldn't see their laptimes, but they looked slower than your 1:30ish. Also, hilarious overtake on the main straight, forgot these cars are a tad wider than they used to be?

    Like I said I don't really play with the controller I was just too lazy to bust out the steering wheel I was just trying out my computer and making a video.

    But the cars are ridiculously fast in the corners when I did try it out with my wheel.

    And I set the AI to the lowest setting because like I said, I don't use the controller.

    I would love to build my own pc but the problem is if i did i would not know how to switch the dam thing on or off LOL never mind running any sort of of software thank you PlayStation but you just need more power to run vr on AC

    If the 1920x1080 is the max resolution on your TV the 1060 is your sweet spot for now, if you want much "power" you can go with 1070 the 1080 would be not a good move for your wallet considering the resolution;)

    Locked 120 FPS is my goal for all games. Plus, a 1070 is only the minimum spec for "Gen II" VR 4k sets that are due later this year. A 1080 will future proof me for at least 1-1.5 years, but a 1080ti might take me all the way into 2020. Or I may be wrong :rolleyes:

    I did a ton of research, and 1080p with X8 MSAA will be fine for me at 120fps.

    60 inches @ 1080p120hz has a lot of life left in it. You really can see the difference when going from 60 to 120fps.

    I don't understand all the hate for HDTVs. If your telling me you can tell t the difference between a 0.7ms (Gaming monitor), and 0.21ms (good HDTV) response time, then I guess I'm just old and my best days are behind me.

    VR should make the difference:D
