Thanks for hosting and streaming, @MrGit@Twitch. Do you have regular streaming days or is it just whenever you find the time?

 

Stream most days, always something going on race wise in the evenings usually.
As you saw last night, you have to bring you A game with the amount of aliens that pop in at times!

 

It's kinda sad, that Marco is so afraid to call ACC a game.

 

If our community was not so toxic and self proclaimed, he would not be. Why, I have myself deleted the word game before posting more than once.

Also thank god the server crashed right as I ran a flat tire in the 29th minute so nobody saw that one.

 

Not so toxic... You have to read the comments on the digital newspapers on my country...

In any case real racing is also a game like it's football or basketball. Sport in general is a game. People who knows nothing about simulation normally call it a game in certain way but thats irrelevant in the end because many people will not interest in simulation never because cost so much effords for them and maybe then they prefer to go and watch Game of Thrones or somethig...

 

The internet is toxic, basically.

 

I would rather say lots of people are toxic. The internet is just a catalyst that allows the most vocal ignorant, dishonest, self-entitled people to embarrass to express themselves in front of the entire world

In all seriousness some sh1t I read on the web just make me think freedom of speech is actually clearly overrated lol

 

I don't even think they are so many, but they are the loudest.

 

It's a bit of a nothingburger, but hey, at least he said it. However nobody is denying it's a "game", maybe it's just an inside joke.

It´s really hard opening Youtube and seeing videos with tittles such as "ACC, what a disappointment", "What is Kunos thinking about?", "ACC, more cheap excuses", etc etc. Most of these videos are people really angry, saying that the "no matchmaking" announcement shows how shameless and lame the development has been, that ACC has just shot at his own feet and if you read the comments, all you can see is phrases like "I feel cheated" or "I hope Kunos doesn´t sell a single copy. What a liars".And I really don´t understand why so. Am I just a conformist or people is just expecting too much of a such an important and complex project it´s been for a team of just 24 employees? I don´t know what to think already, so much hate only makes me sad about what kind of society we´re living in, where the hype is the one who rules, that people where just waiting for an "iRacing killer" and it really makes me feel hopeless about this disgusting society.

This post may not be interesting for most of you guys, but I just wanted to express how I feel right now and why this is unfair.

 

If I leave my disappointment aside for a moment, yea, I think like you. But if the people feels cheated, I don't think the problem is of the people

 

There's a long discussion on this topic in a different thread. That discussion, with this community, has been for the large part constructive and well behaved, which I think is encouraging. But yes, on the broader internet things are a little more wild which is disturbing. There was already a fair amount of hate for ACC (think Gamer Muscle and his loathing of the FFB) and the multiplayer announcement has compounded things I'm afraid..

 

A lot of the extreme negative people on the net have an agenda to make Kunos fail.... all in favour of another game.
