It should be around 7.50€ at Gamestop. Maybe even less, given the last price drop (game is 30€ brand new).

 

Current (US market) GameStop trade-in value is around $9. Agree with PRO Stream BG, it's not worth it to sell the game at this point, unless you can find a private buyer locally.

It took 4 weeks to download digital copy. And 1 week each for dlc's !
That's what you get for living in a barn in the middle of nowhere.
We use carrier pigeons and smoke signals instead of emails and texts!

 

Wish I could. I foolishly bought the digital download and eventually a couple DLC packs thinking they would get things right eventually. However, the lack of any information combined with some pretty unprofessional postings by Kunos and the general hostility shown to console customers and their very valid concerns has me regretting that.

Physics are great, which is the only reason most like myself are even paying any attention in hopes that there will be improvement. But their inaction on keeping customers apprised of progress and general attitude displayed here doesn't inspire much confidence that it will.

As always, I hope they prove me wrong. But the ship has sailed, it's on the horizon about to disappear. Only a short time to get it turned around before it's gone for good.

 

You should should write young-adult fiction, because the melodrama in here gives Twilight a serious run for its money.

Best I can tell as a mostly lurking reader, it's not those who have complaints about the console version causing the drama. It's the dug in Kunos defenders, who appear to mostly be PC players, causing the drama. I could probably spend 10 minutes here and count a hundred posts from these types complaining about others complaints. If you're happy with the product, as these people seem to be, then the only reason that person could have to come into a thread that is clearly discussing problems and issues that don't affect them is to troll.

Always humorous reading the drama of the "someone is holding a gun to my head forcing me to read and comment on things I don't care about" crowd.

 

How much more correct and informative can they be? Let's see.


Plans\schedule - Things out of their control happen, such as not passing Sony\ Microsofts authorisation.

Information - Highlights of next update. Private lobbies, custom championships, FOV settings, V.10 Tyres, Highlands track, all cars in PC version, Bug fixes.


What part of that is incorrect or lack of information? What more do we really need to know? They can not tell us evey single thing they are aiming for in each update as some minor things may not pass authorisation and may be dropped for the following update. Then what happens? I will tell you, a bunch of cry babies will open threads about said feature they listed is not in the update. Instead of enjoying What's in the update, and yes that's exactly what will happen and the evidence is that people are crying lack of information, when we have it.

Perhaps you could divert some of that attention to reading and digesting what is posted then? There is no lack of information, we know what is coming and the ball park in which it is coming. If you want an exact date then you are creating your dissatisfaction all of your own doing as it's obvious they cant give one.

I guarantee that even after i have stated what is coming in the update there will still be posters playing dumb and asking the same question.

Kunos would be doing themselves a favour by not allowing any chat on this "Support forum" and only allowing reports and whatnot.

 

I have PS4 version and your post is a mile off the mark. Look at the complaints- no information = that's pure bull**** and it is spread in every thread. Then we have the complainers like Trump who just repeatedly make snide posts in every thread. People have made complaints about the game, if you do it every day in any thread then they're nothing but *****boi's. They ruin every thread with their incessant whinny *** *****ing for the rest of us who want to read the tread. Again this is a support forum not a public forum for whinners, who repeatedly play dumb in the face of information given out.

 

Not so much complain, you say snide l say humorous, dry at that but l see you like to be dramatic.

If you comes from development of Pcars you understand ...what i talking about Information...if you see their forums...and how SMS anunce every patchnotes,work in progress,estimated times,roadmap..ect ect...definitivly you gone a see a lack of concrete info from Kunos... Ahh and nowere you can see "soon" in SMS forums..

 

You are correct. Like I said in a recent post - there is no true fanboyism going on in here. There has been some but now it's more like AC-friendly users showing some people a mirror rather than anything else.

Especially true about Trump - that guy is one sneaky troll and a perceived 99 % of his posts are one-line leg pullers.

There's so many consoleros accepting that Kunos made mistakes and therefore leaving or waiting for the fixes and updates. But then there's this small but quite vocal bunch winding themselves up and - most annoyingly - victimizing themselves while filling the forum with ever-repeating bull****.

But yeah...there was some sort of a seed-out process on the PC side, too so maybe there's hope ;-)

 

"#smsoon" doesn't this ring any bells? No? just saying they used it alot themselves. We did always get the complete patch notes though...

 

I personally like the official posts of kunos LOCKED from the start in one place.
So you would have a trail of official info.
E.g.

Community update.

A/c 505 updates
Aiming to finish update by end of march
Patch submitted
Release date of patch
Patch notes
Lord kunos bits he's put in different threads on what's coming.




Basically a trail of official info of come onto forum you can go to 1 place to get OFFICIAL info instead of multiple threads of people guessing, official info added in and arguments.
This way we could have more info posted, and if people want more info they just start a thread which then kunos can control.

As it is at the moment it's all over the shop, you might get a official post on what's coming in a thread on page 20. Then you have multiple threads on community update, locked unlocked locked. If there is a official update in a thread of lord kunos this should be copied to the official trail.

In defence of Trump.
At least he adds a bit of much needed humour to the proceedings. (A bit like the real Trump actually)
And far easier and less exhausting reading some of the one liners, than some of the long drawn out posts that cover the same thing over and over again.
Some are harder reading than 'War and Peace'!!
