1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Well, I wouldn't call it conversion. I think it is more like "continuation" of old mod. It is going to be biggest and best mod ever. Nice to see a teaser. This must be the year when it comes live.

    Lol, you really think he cares the trackside objects?
    Of course he's talking about the track, he says the Shumacher S and the Mercedes Arena are not 100% accurate (there are off-camber corners in the latter IRL).
    You said to him the track is not accurate, because Kunos didn't have enough money in the beginning, and had to use the earlier, not so much sophisticated scan. And you say here he doesn't mean the accuracy, he means the trackside objects....


    Yes, and the Mercedes Arena suddenly tilted to the right side before the iRacing scan.


    Guys, what's your point really? Why is so important to you to try to disprove immediately any critics about AC, without facts or any thinking? I always find this quite annoying and counterproductive.

    He thinks, some corners aren't 100% accurate. And what happens then?

    Everything has been said about the Nicki Thüm "gate" and there are probably a few good points to explain why he talked about some inaccuracies.
    But nobody mentioned the question of the FOV...

    This factor could easily give a different perspective of a track.

    And most of all, if you play with VR, you "discover" the tracks and the feeling is very different from a 2d screen.

    So, in my opinion, the best way to compare real life track with a virtual one is to try it in VR.

    I didn't want to say Nicki isn't right. I only wanted to say - as always - I hate this weird behaviour, immediately shut up or disprove any critical voice against AC.
    It's much better to think about, why he felt that, what could cause the inaccuracies he was talking about.

    I think it is understandable if older models were imprecise. Otherwise, I think, they could have used "only" further detailing.

    Thats what happens when you drive too much of Miata, AE86 and Alfa Romeo GTA :D

    I say bring the C9, 98T, 917/30 lol I think DRM will be like Moby Dick, which AFAIK you really liked.

    It isn't the power it's the delivery. I'm not a fan of turbo power delivery at all. The 935 is definitely one of my favourite turbocharged cars ingame though.

    The 935 is waaay nicer than the 917K. Atleast the 935 turns when you drag the brake or get on throttle, the 917K just refuses to turn regardless. The 917K's linear power delivery is like parsley ontop of a turd. I like a bit of parsley as much as the next man but served in this way it isn't so appetizing.

    If they're anything close to R3E's Group 5 cars, surely they'll be a blast to drive, specially the Zackspeed Capri or the 320T. TBF, I have more trouble with the high torque N/A's like the Vette and Monza. The weld rear differential of the 935 (or Fabcar in R3E) makes it quite different to corner than most high powered and light-weight rivals.
