1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

I think I have had some of my most enjoyable races there, racing multiple laps within 1 second of another driver doesnt get much better. The Nords 24 and VLN races have had some epic battles that have lasted multiple fuel stints, its the same as any other track though you need others that are quick and know the track very well to have a proper battle. This is harder at Nords but many of the guys that are quick at any track will be much the same at Nords these days and you can have some amazing races there.

I love the Island, it brings back many memories going there racing as a teenager. For me I love race tracks with that type of flowing fast corners.. I would probably love Philip Island lazer scanned more than any other race track on earth.. One day my dream will be complete with a full V8 Supercars simulator though I'll probably be to damn old by then.. Still it will not stop me caining it hard.. pop a couple of V's and off I go..

I think Supercars will go the way of the Dinosaurs within a few years, my guess is Australia's main series will likely be DTM GT500 type or GT3 in the not too distant future along with maybe S5000 for old school open wheelers. If it goes GT3 as the Bathurst 12hr is getting pretty big and many people I know would rather go to or watch this then the V8's these days already, if that happens it could become SRO and maybe Kunos 2023 DLC will be the Australian GT3 championship with all our tracks. ;)

  4. lol guys... Road America, Daytona, Indianapolis, those ones in the desert.
Probably tracks among the best ones in the world. Burtust is a beautiful track ok.
    But not among the top.
Mugello is more beautiful for instance

I don't understand what people like about Road America. To me this seems pretty boring except maybe that long curve where you need to manage your throttle. Road Atlanta is fantastic though.

Blancpain America and Asia both have great tracks. I can only hope we get both down the road but I can't complain about IGTC, any new tracks are welcome, especially Suzuka for me.
My only fear is AI behavior in Bathurst. Kunos really needs to dial down the current aggressiveness of AI or the section through the mountain is going to be a pain.

I'm more worried about the MP heroes.. Most of them won't even make it up to The Dipper as they will muck it up at Hell corner..

I can't bloody wait to drive it in the wet.. It's going be unreal & epic x 4.. :D:cool:

We already have Brands and Silverstone. British GT would add Donington, Oulton and Snetterton. Quality tracks.

It’s just a shame they sacked off Knockhill and Thruxton a few years back... :(

In fantasy land I can not decide if I would prefer the US over the Asian series however I would prefer either of those over the British series..

Having been around the track IRL I can tell you its a treat. Its narrower than you would think which makes it tricky. the elevation change is just awesome. In the Fall the changing colours of the trees is awesome. Fan accessibility, well you can go everywhere and see every part of the track. the food at the restaurant is fantastic. Also the town of Elkhart Lake its self. 800 or so permanent residence are all very welcoming of the racing community with neat little places to go. Not to mention world famous Siebkens Resort and the Stop-inn Tavern is the go to place for all the racers. It has so much History and signatures and memorabilia on the walls of all the racers that have been there since it opened. They sell a poster with everyone who has visited it..............however with that said I do very much understand your point....I don't get the all the hype over the Nords and why people obsess over it (No Nords No buy people). I personally don't care for it and don't need it in every sim that comes out like ACC for example. Maybe because I'm Canadian and would prefer north-american tracks especially Mosport as its my home track

Same. Road America is one of my favorite tracks and would rather see it and the rest of Blancpain America tracks a thousand times over Nords (which we're not getting anyways).

I marvel at the incredible diversity of quality tracks - real and fictional - that are making their way in to AC. I am more interested in ACC keeping up the series specific fidelity with full grids of cars with accurate liveries and proper series specific regulations. I would like to get the pit crew back already. I don’t need ACC to become AC, especially now that AC is improving with age. I watched a replay of a race I ran at dusk on the 1967 Le Mans circuit with period correct grid - it was mesmerizing.

Suzuka aside Blancpain Asia is a grand tour of car parky grade 1 Tilkadromes...

Donny, Oulton and Snetterton are worth 10 of them ;)

Blancpain USA has Elkhart Lake, Watkins and VIR. Worthy I agree.

I suppose the 2018 and 2019 series cars (European Cup) would not be equal in BoP, that regulations change between seasons?

I wonder how this will be managed, maybe we will be able to choose a BOP season but still use any car. I remember seeing somewhere a dev say they wanted all cars to be accessible.

Not sure how that would work for new 2019 cars in 2018 BOP. Same with IGTC tracks/cars as many possible combos werent raced.

I assume they make BOP pre season for all cars that are elligible to race as they dont exactly know who will enter all races.

How Kunos will do this will be interesting to see.

In some ways I find it ironically fitting/suitable, as isn't the "mix and match" approach a lot of what GT3 racing is these days?

Meaning, contrary to a season like Formula One where each race is contested with the same grid, as I understand it quite a few GT3 teams race their cars in different series within the same year, sometimes with different BoPs, some teams might race only one car at a given race and two at another, some drivers make a whole season, some only certain races.

From that background, it doesn't seem to "immersion-breaking" to for example have a 720S show up occasionally. Or a 2018 car in a 2019 grid, or on a track on another continent.

I think the biggest challenge will be a new for 2019 model joining the 2018 grid as this would have been an eye opener of cars launched in 2019 raced in a 2018 race.

For this to work BOP would need to be created, I really dont know how big the BOP changes for cars were from 2018 to 2019 and its quite likely that using other cars typical changes in reverse could do this.

Its possible BOP changes between the 2 seasons were fairly limited and barely noticeable making it mostly a non issue. BOP I think will be mostly track based so for the IGTC new tracks all cars will need something to be creatively created if they didnt race at those.

It would also be nice to have an option to race 911 cup and Lambo trofeo with their normal config not what they were BOP'd to at Spa in a single class race but I think that would be unlikely. The trofeo would generally be too fast in straights to compete with gt3 cars but it would almost make it the new gt2 spec. :D

They should use the newest BoP for all cars as much as possible. Anything else would be too confusing IMO.
I also wouldn't mind, if they made their own BoP for cars, that aren't participating in 2019. Every car should be competitive, except Cup and Trofeo.
