1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.

As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Allow booking time to be extended into qualifying

  1. Hey, I think it would be better if the booking period of a server could be extended into qualifying. Say you have set 10 minutes qualifying time and there are 5 minutes left...if you are still able to complete a valid qualifying lap (and there is room left on the server of course) one should be able to join the server. Would that be possible?
    Another thing that sure would come in handy in multiplayer for a lot of users: to sort servers for instance by car, track, or even search for specific cars/tracks and/or users. Then of course to be able to sort by booking time left...;)
    Booking is great, even for public servers. But by allowing users to join during qualifying servers would get more attention. I know it`s contradictive to be able to pre-book and quick join on same server, but considering a lot of booking servers are empty during pre-booking, opening the possibility to quick-join during qualifying would come in handy.
    Finally what comes to mind regarding booking: A way to somehow take car of this mess would be: say I can sort booking servers by race time left. I can then "pin" them to the screen in multiple fashion and be notified in game shortly before booking period opens.

    There is a reason we have booking time to begin with and pre loaded cars if we don't...LFS is a light game on your machine it doesn't have fancy graphics or textures it just have boxes on wheels and every time someone enters a game it lags just a tiny bit...Now AC this be slightly newer game and cars aren't just emty boxes on wheels there are car bodies consisting of heck knows how many polygons , not to mention the interior, now if a car would enter in this game mid qualy lap it would lagg the **** out of you. Since we don't have custom paints or anything of the sort, you could technicly store the cars in a way that it doesn't lag, but that is taxing on the machine and knowing how AC runs on machines to begin with, this is not reasonable to do.

    Letting players in practice is more reasonable...
