An encouragement for people offering servers, and some questions:

Consider to include the Lotus Evora GTC when making the car field consisting of GT3 - and GT2 - cars. The Lotus nicely fits in, and adds a bit to car model diversity. At least in AI races with 97 or 98% it proves to be able to keep up with the pack.

And the questions: what is the closest opponent to combine the P4/5 with for competition?

I take it that these are the currently closest pairings:

599XX and Zonda

LaFerarri and - well I thought Huayra, just finding the Pagani to be relatively lame in comparison (or it is my driving...)
Maybe I should try LaFerrari and Zonda? And 599XX and Huayra?

What to combine the P4/5 best with?

GT2 cars. If you search cars by Tag, you'll find it there. But I've raced in servers with the p4/5 against GT3 cars. But you can also pair it against GTC/GX.

I was "stuck" with a GTC in a field of GT2 cars at Nurbringring just last night. Wow! You would have sworn that this GTC was the widest car in history. It was the most defending (1 defensive move per corner or what have you) I have ever done in a single race in my life. It was insane. The faster guys can actually put the GTC in the front of the GT3 cars. I have seen it in league races a few times.

The LaFerrari completely destroys the Huayra. End of that story.

From what I have seen the P4/5 fits with both GT2 and GT3, it just depends of the caliber of the drivers of each class. I wouldn't be able to hang with the GT2 guys if I were in a P4/5.

The RSR timing site may be useful to see what cars are a good fit with eachother.

At Spa, I drive the LaFerrari 10 seconds better per lap than the Huayra now. Not that my lap times themselves are competitive with those cars - they are not. But 10 seconds - I thought it maybe was just me, my incompetence to do the Huayra right.

I love the P4/5 to drive, and I like the "interceptor" cockpit of it as well, it drives very fair and balanced. But I cannot compete in it with GT2 and GT3 cars.

The GTC being a tough nut to crack I have seen repeatedly in AI races at 97 and 98% now. And it is so agile!

 

The P4/5 Competizione was developed for the N24 race, and it is an SP9-spec car, which is de-facto GT3 at VLN/N24. Together with GT3, it also has ABS and TC, unlike GT2. The laptimes ingame are also very similar to GT3, so I would definitely put it up against those.

It cannot be matched against the 2/11 GT4, but it's extremely fun and everyone I raced with loved the car so far. There's more GT4/Supercup cars to come from Bzyq and I would appreciate having some populated servers with that one

 

The GTC is in my servers. It was my favorite GT car until the SLS GT3 came out. It's a little slower, but it's a great car to drive. I probably did most of my Snoopy's Nords laps with that car.
