I noticed that the 720s now has a secondary display next to the primary dash, showing the image of a rear camera - was that present before this update?
At least I think that not... But I really like it of course!

Custom liveries for the 720s now also have a numberplate which is nice

I runned a few races against the ai and damn, that was really good. Did the guys tweaked the aggression? with 100% aggro they fight and overtake now. rly good, I like it.

I like the new physics/suspension update.. The Audi Evo has more front end feel and grip which feels particularly great in the low speed corners.. There is more yaw inertia which is nice however it can catch me out from time to time.. I'm sure with some little setup changes I'll be able to mach or even improve on lap times..

And here's hoping 1.4, which is said will contain new customization options for cars and drivers, will bring more livery patterns for that car and for the Lexus.

 

I've read on this forum that the Lexus is a license prohibition, so I doubt it will be changed.

 

Licensing prohibitions can be removed. Like when Toyota came to Forza Horizon 4, after not being in, at release, because of a licensing prohibition. I also don't hold much hope, for the record, but maybe they've got something new negotiated.

 

Ok the main thing I notice on the Audi Evo is a bit more oversteer which is dangerous on some corner exits (might all be placebo of course.... ) but I found it tricky in Barcelona, in particular on the corner before the last chicane.

 

I don't suppose you can look left and right with the left directional joystick on fanatec rims yet?

 

Don't know how it is on your wheel, but on my McLaren GT3 wheel I can, with the thumbstick.

 

i'd say thats because it is a funky switch which is ideal for controlling the MFD and not the additional analog thumb stick that has it's own X & Y axis which is included on the BMW or Formula V2 rim..

Overall I like the updates, something felt different tonight not sure what, and it didn't change my laptimes, but the car felt "different", in a good way.

Had a hard time staying connected to servers at the beginning, which was strange as I had no internet issues.

For some reason there is a box stuck next to the leaderboard when racing says Mandatory 0/255 Valid its like when you pit and it tells you if your pitstop is good, that box. Just sitting out there.

 

I noticed this too for public servers with short race times..

Try setting this so it only shows up under the pit strategy MFD. Options --> HUD --> Pit Info & Driver Timers: "Only with Pit Panel"

Aye, that’s a weirdly big thing for me too.

I don’t suppose anyone would be so kind as to explain these two to me? I am most intrigued (as someone whose most wanted feature is a custom grid selector).

 

I think, but I could be wrong, that sometimes the quick race and the custom race weekend used a too limited amount of cars for the session. I had several times I wanted to do a race with 49 AI cars and it would only add 22 because I had the ICGT selected.

 

Still hoping that 1.4 will bring separate coordinates for all HUD elements, i.e. let us place them where we want.
Individual scaling would also be cool.

 

My gut feel is they will not be going down this path..

A little one I would like to see is a blank HUD with the MFD only..

 

If not mistaken, I think you can have it already.
