Ah I see you mean if you order now. People who have pre-ordered will still get theirs at the end of April.

 

I'm not saying that the game will not have this feature. I'm saying that I think I had not seen it in version 1.0

Ah I see. I was going to pre order when it said the end of april then it changed. No big deal I can wait. The new F1 v2 rim looks wicked. Got my sim-lab P1 coming this week too

 

See, my concern was valid. I have a feeling they're leaving features out in 1.0

 

Well, their website says we should be getting them, so let's hope they live up to what they said.

 

Lots of v1 games have features left out.. As long as the developer doesn't do a snatch and grab like other studios do then all will be Kunos They did not let us down in AC and went beyond what was expected so I see no real concrrn here...

 

I'm still a bit worried about the lights and shadows, but I'm sure they will have perfected the game by the time they release their free 2019 update.

Ah, the "wording" is very identical to what's on ACC site https://www.assettocorsa.net/competizione/ and 505 site https://505games.com/games/assetto-corsa-competizione/ and these two include "driver changes", although I don't read either of those (ACC, 505 and forum thread) as the list of full features. They are only representative of some key features, but not a full list.

But sometimes I have difficulty to understand some questions/doubts that are raised.
Quite recently, with v0.7 in fact, was added the pit strategy page and we all can see there is the option (yet disabled) to change drivers.

There's no need to ask for a confirmation of everything when an announcement is made that, obviously, isn't an exhaustive list of all features.

The devs have already said here in the forum that some features could come after 1.0, due to delays in development. But that was conditional, not affirmation.

It really seems that many people have forgotten what was done in AC 1 by Kunos.

Where does this fear come from?

 

I did however find a minor visual bug in the trailer. Those sparkles went straight through the windshield.
