1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Apart from rare MP connection losses on official servers, microfreezes in MP and the need for some performance optimisation, I'm enjoying ACC more and more. It looks and sounds very good, it's very realistic, it has a really good rating system in place...and every aspect of it shows high quality and great attention to detail.

What stood out to me in today's races was the importance of good brake temps and how crucial the brake ducts are to the tyre temps. Paul Ricard is very interesting in that aspect. Ferrari brakes will run cold because there's not a lot of heavy breaking on that track. Close the ducts to keep them in range and your tyres run too hot because there's many medium/high speed corners. So you have to find a compromise through setup or driving style that keeps both tyres and brakes happy. This is so much fun and so rewarding. @Aristotelis it's amazing what your doing here.

Looks like my happy days with ACC are coming to end. Game crashes after 5-15 minutes into the race with message:
    Fatal error:[File: Unknown][Line:200]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error:0X887A0006 - 'HUNG')
Frustrated beyond words as ACC in Oculus is basically all I play .

Try dropping 50Mhz from your gpu clock.

@pankykapus (or another developer who may know), will we be able to customize the championship, like what rounds, order of the rounds, specifics of each round, in Championship mode? You know, like F1 2018 and the official WRC games?

What I did i cleaned GPU radiator from dust (hybrid 1080ti) and droped temp. from 57 to 43'C. So far drove for at least 1hour and no error (see above a few posts). Didn't drop Mhz or changed drivers so far. Invictus was complaining about the same problem in bugs section of this forum, hopwfully it will him too.Thank you for trying to help.

IMO it is very unlikely that the dust removal with corresponding temperature drop has fixed your issue. Unless the radiator was entirely clogged, it's even unlikely that you'll achieve that 14 degree temp frop through cleaning.

I have a feeling that you'll see that error again.

When I had a 980ti hybrid, my radiator got super blocked and dirty... I did have strange issues that went away when airflow was fixed... I do hope this fixes the issues

Are you running any of the VR engine.ini tweaks that had been posted in the forums?

I found removing these stopped the error from happening on my system.

Sorry, but I've heard such stories too many times (w/o proper documentation) and did it too many times myself to believe it. When a GPU overheats it slows down and you will lose FPS. It can be clearly seen by temperatures and clocks. AFAIK, GPUs crashing applications because of overheating is a thing of the past and doesn't happen with modern devices, anymore. That's all there is to a blocked cooling system. "Strange issues" can come from anything and just so go away - that's what you get with PCs, at times.

The 57° TRIAS mentioned are nowhere even close to where a GPU would start to struggle! If I let my Vega run 80° (which I don't - I keep it at ~72°) it throttles the clock and loses ~6 % of FPS performance. It doesn't get unstable or generate any artefacts - it just slows down a little. Once I accidentally deactivated the fans and the GPU almost came to a halt, producing only 20 FPS or so. But it never crashed even then.

My best guess is that those "device hung" errors do indeed come from too much overclocking. I recently increased the clock from 1650 MHz to 1670 and ACC crashed at high FPS, low temps with the "hung" error. Reducing it back to the previous value seems to have fixed the issue. I had previously been playing with those 1650 MHz for maybe 20 hours or so w/o any issues.

is there any issues with the MP servers?

No one seems to be online and all Kunos server are not reachable?
or is it just because today is bank holiday in uK??

Verursacht die crashbox diesen Unfall, oder ensteht sowas durch die Latenz? Es ist schade so aus dem Rennen auszuscheiden, der Ferrari hätte mich wahrscheinlich nichtmal berührt...

    I think driver error.
I noticed you broke just prior to the crash.
I also notice a little smoke too, indicating a lock up.
Did you also go down a gear or 2 as that could have caused a lock up, especially as you were just into a dirty part of the track.
The inside shot shows the front dip, showing that you also braked just prior to losing it.
Are the white lines slippery too? as that could have been an issue, as well as dips in the road (the beauty of laser scanned).

If that’s against the AI then either one car or both car collision boxes looks too big as there was visually probably 1/4 metre gap between them at the point of contact.
