Generic BMW M4 Nurburgring - Spring (GT) (BUG!!!)

Ha guys I found a bug in the Seth section, as the tittle say, settings Susspension section, the picture shows that the Camber is not symmetrical and you can't get it symmetrical as well!!
Thb I didt drove the car just lowered my fuel to 5L and didt touch other settings. So, I'll try just to adjust the lower chamber and see how's going. But only for the record this is a bug or something like that.

Yes I noticed this too again today on the trackday at Nordschleife when selecting the M4 and I think it is actually breaking the cars physics, every time I break traction on straights the rear pulls to the right.

 

I've seen this on the M235i Racing and the 1M Stage 3. Seems to be a BMW related problem!

 

I thought I had seen it on more than one BMW, thanks for mentioning them.

 

I didn't drive the car tbh bcoz I know it won't end well thought and I've right, as I say the backend would go crazy! Solid car but with that bug undriveable.

I prefer not to either but decided to try it today and see if it had an effect. I put both rear to -2.0 but can't be sure it stayed there and the traction loss like I mentioned seemed heavily biased to kicking out the the right, right rear being the bug and all.

 

I think what you're seeing are tiny changes caused by the uneven surface the car is sat on. As it would be in rl.

As long as you set the adjustment panel to the same then your settings are the same.

 

No it's not small changes caused by the track, the problem is with the adjustment screen.

Maybe a video clip will be more helpful than a screenie, I will see what I can do on that front...

Camber is adjustable in 0.1 increments on one side and only whole numbers on the other.

The bugged side (whole numbers) re-sets to -4 when you enter the setup but the camber value remains as it was set in the left hand information pane.

I honestly believe that Kunos will fix this one. Btw this is 1M but my is on the M5 on the Nurburgring.

Although the adjustment has obvious bug you can see from the live values that setup is fine. If you put same number from adjustments for both sides it shouldn't cause any driving problems.

 

How do we get around the different measurements used ie: whole numbers on one side and decimals on the other?

 

Use full numbers. Camber changes aren't that precise.

IMO those live values should be from virtual garage and not from the bumpy pit or track. It has been like this since early access so very unlikely to change.

 

1.0 to 2.0 has a huge difference, as does 2.0 to 3.0 so without decimals only moving whole units is a big difference.

 

I settled on the -2 setting for when I did the hotlap event, adjustability wry restricted!

@iwanchek I purchased the digital version of he game (ease of use), so lost out on some of the pre order cars, the M4 being one of the as previously stated the bug also happen with the M235i Racing.
