Can i please have new dampers

for the BMW M235i and the ALFA 155 v6 Ti

I don't know what you did to them, although I suspect it involved many laps of the Nordschleife and lots of hitting the bumpstops while beta testing the DLC

Either way, they just feel broken and if it was my real car they'd be going in the bin right now, as regardless of springs rates they always bounce several times over bumps and don't feel like they are controlling the springs properly


A few adjustment options for them in the setup pages would be nice too, as they are race cars

I suspect the M235i has minimal adjustment available in real life. It's really a road car with a cage in it. Not sure about the 155 but I suspect we have the real life adjustment range, it's an early 90s design.

Parts of the Nordschleife are very bumpy, drive slower...

 

I hate to be the guy complaining as I love AC, but for these 2 cars the dampers just feel off to me

As for the Nords, I had the pleasure to do a few laps there in real life a few years back and it really is very bumpy, but these cars still feel the same on other tracks. The 155 I only really drove at Vallelunga so far and it feels under damped there too

I can accept a real race car back in the 90s did not have as good as dampers as they might now, but I still find it hard to believe they would not be significantly better than your average road car now, and did not have some adjustment possible in what was the prime Touring Car series of the day...

you can clearly see the remote reservoirs for the rather expensive looking dampers so I doubt they are fixed
