1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Car models and skins boards

    This is to the AC staff. Wouldn't it be better if we separated the two areas (Car models / skins), to their own separate boards? Right now I go into the Car models and skins modding board to look at what new car models are done and I have to go through pages of skins to find car model threads. There will always be more threads on skins than car models themselves, so why not separate it so car model threads (which in turn will become mods), have their own board and skinning can have its own board. This would make it easier when wanting to just look through threads of car models being made or threads of skins being made. Would clean it up a bit too. Its just a thought but hope you guys can do it, I think it would be better than going through a bunch of skin threads to find a model thread. Especially as the forum grows it will get even more chaotic.

    May I bump this up and ask you to reconsider at some point? Right now we have some really amazing looking WIP models that are getting lost in a sea of individual skin posts. Not that I've got anything against the skinners, obviously, but it would be very good to get them separated out :)

    Yes, one person can filter by prefix but I highly doubt everyone will, I don't get it they did it to the racedepartment WIP thread as well I don't even bother looking at that thread because there is to many skins to find a model.

    It seems like the modellers who are working hard are not really supported, when they are just bunched in with the skins.

    Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the 2d artists, I agree both are valid.

    A lot of work goes into building a 3D model, these things will draw people in, if someone has never heard of AC yet they see a great model like the MX5 or Gallardo, they will find out more about AC and probably buy the game, as it is at the moment someone new, probably would miss a lot of the models.

    I agree please make a separate section.
