1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Engine, oil and water temperatures simulation ?

We would like to know if in the future there will be engine temperature, water, oil, etc with repercussions on damage engine ... we think this is elementary for a real racing simulator, especially for sport and formula racing cars

Thank and sorry by my bad english :)

I also think it¡s something a"simulator" must have properly implemented along with the damages it has to cause on engine
    Specially for older cars

I think this stuff will come in time.In the controls.ini there is a starter key setting which IMO shows its just not working yet.I doubt they will make a less simulation than NKpro.

  7. Can a dev please tells us about it?.
For certain people sim racing may be, quick online racing on public servers, but for others we plan to race super realistic and hardcore leagues, and things like this are something it has be be.

For example how can you start to think racing endurance leagues, with no engine wear, or having to control engine, oil temperatures, having to setup the car with a bigger radiator that also add more weigth to the car? all this things are very basic for a simulator.

other things like going to pits and no automaticly change tyres and refuel, for some cars ( tatus if i'm not wrong) they use same tyres the whole weekend, how will be simulate that?)

Hope to hear from a dev about this, and wish to be inplemented in future,

To give you prespective, on why wee need to know so hard, is we are building a big league project it will consiste in a online carrer league going through some seasons, it involves a lot of work, modelling 100+cars and a lot of tracks too, imagine how much work is that. it would be not fun at all build all that and then later find that all this basic features are not simulated.

    Please and answer?

I am retired from joblife at this age of 32, i have too much time in my hands. So i love hardcore leagues and wan't truly race super realistic races/weekends/leagues. Of course game must have options for those who are casual drivers too, they pay money also to the devs etc.

But there maybe could be different DLC for endurance gamers than casual 3 lap drivers with easy going cars...

Guess they need to implement engine simulation first. The current engine sim is VERY simplistic it seems.

  17. it has to have otherwise simcade.

it's like having a football game without corners

I don't see anything easy on engine simulation. Of course they can program the gauges to look like they are working, but that is not the same as having engine simulation and displaying on the gauges.

A good driver dont only turn the steering wheel, or gas-brake pedal, has to manage everything that happens in the car and especially in the engine... we know that AC just in early or beta phase, but it´s a essential feature for pure and hardcore gamers xd...

Now that you mention it... gauge failures will be very nice too :)
