1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Feedback about new graphics card

    Hi all,

I am in the process of getting a new video card. I am looking for something at the range of a GTX 650 Ti or Ti boost. And have the following questions:

There are GTX 650 Ti with 1 and 2 GB memory configurations. Would memory be a factor on running AC? Soo far I have seen no problem running 1GB video cards with different sims and games. Just want to know what would be the impact of it particulary on AC.

Main difference between the Ti and Ti boost is the memory bus of 128 and 192 bits respectively, which translates in 86.4 and 144.2 memory transfer rates. How much of a factor is this on a sim like AC?

Ti boost has slighly faster clock frequencies compared to the Ti so I do not see a big difference on that area. Both has also the same 768 pixels per clock performance.

I am expecting to use a single 24'' monitor 1920x1080 screen resolution.

Appreciate any feedback you could provide to me.

    2gb-192bits is a no-brainer here mafrien'.
You can never have enough vram.

Always go with most mem and bandwidth on gfx card.:)

AC will pretty much max out your examples above.

660 here and very happy with it. Upgraded from a 260 mind you :) Not sure about price/performance difference but mine was less than $300 here in australia (we tend to pay more) and well worth it

I have settings pretty much maxed out and I see up to 1300mb of VRam being used. 2gb is a minimum thesedays.

To have acceptable visuals the game require high levels of AA/AF which is bandwidth hungry (especially AA). At 1920x1080 and higher resolutions bandwidth becomes very important and 2gb frame buffer is more than welcome.
Go for 650Ti 2Gb or 660 2Gb (about 10-15% faster). But i suggest to add and go for the GTX760 as this is the best bang/buck gfx card right now. Will suit AC very well @1920x1080. Regular 650 is a "no-no" - you'll be severely limited by the bandwidth @ 1920x1080.
