1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

That is what happens when you spend to much time in IRacing.:p
More seriously though, sorry to read that , I hope you can get it to work again soon.

Can't help it, the new IndyCar is so much fun! :p

I think once I click "OK" and let it delete what it wants to I should be fine. Just freaked me out a bit when it said it was going to delete all the cars so I hit the brakes and did some research before letting it go ahead with it.

I can't read anything on your screenshot. You made it tiny. :( I swear, I don't know if I've met someone who's had such unwarranted trouble with the PC. You use that system strictly for sim racing, right? I was very happy for you when you replaced that twilight zone PC you had before this one...but now... :( Have you considered your house may be haunted?

    HELP

I have a 23" diagonal single screen that I view from about 25".
When I run the calculator linked in this thread, the result is about 25 degrees.

First, does this sound reasonable,... or am I doing something wrong ?

Second, if I clic the AC Auto pos in the On board setting app, it sets the POV to 54 degrees.
There seems to be no place to enter the screen size, or distance, so how is that calculated ?
    Seems way too wide.

Was running 45 degrees, I am now running 35 degrees after seeing the calculator result, which seems comfortable for me.

But now I can't see the rear-view mirror in an Merc Amg gt3, and can't find the virtual mirror any more.

    Thanks, LATE4APEX

Well, it is built on an Indian burial ground. :D I've had this PC for just over a year now and haven't really had any problems with it and I think this problem should be easy to sort. Not sure why it made the photo so small so I'm attaching it again, it basically says the AC folder in my documents is from a different version of AC and it wants to delete a bunch of stuff from my documents folder. No idea how that happened, it had been working fine the last time I played it and I haven't changed anything.

I wonder why it delete all AC files in the user document. It make no sense.

I bet if you copy the replays, setups & all PB it & re add them after deletion, it will still read the files no problem.

That's the plan, I already have all that stuff backed up on my other drive so I can copy it back in.

Sorry so late with a response... Yeah, that's a strange one, Brandon. I was going to suggest you try exactly what you're planning on doing.
