1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

  3. Definitely excited to see if this can help with VR performance. DLSS and FSR 1.0 artifacts (particularly the track out on the horizon) made me not want to use them, hoping 2.0 works a little better.

If i am not mistaken it needs DX12 or Vulkan. ACC is still on DX11.

Hopeful Kunos can add FSR 2.0 to ACC, should certainly not be a big headache given it's on UE4 and already supports TAA and DLSS 2.x. It'd be the TAA-replacement I wrongly thought 1.0 would be. FSR 1.0 works well enough for me personally but increased clarity and image stability with 2.0 would definitely be a boon, even with slightly less of a performance gain. Just please don't outright replace one with the other like God of War has done, both have their use. 1.0 might still be better for older hardware in particular.

  9. AMD has just published two new Unreal Engine 4 and 5 plugins that allow developers to easily add support for FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 2.0 to their games.

AMD FSR 2.0 uses temporal upscaling. This means that FSR 2.0 will not be as straightforward to build as its predecessor, but AMD claims that for games that already have motion vectors and other temporal upscaling capabilities (such as DLSS), the implementation will take days rather than months. Because Unreal Engine currently supports temporal upscaling, adding FSR 2.0 compatibility may be as simple as adding a plugin and tuning it for the game. Temporal Antialiasing is actually required for the FSR 2.0 plugin to function.

The FSR 2.0 plugin includes RCAS sharpening, which means that games that currently have AMD FidelityFX-CAS should disable this sharpening technology first. Conveniently, AMD provides a thorough instruction on how to accomplish this, regardless of whether you're using 4.26.2, 4.27.2, or Unreal Engine 5.
