How to change shifting from sequential to H-shifter?

I see that the cars which use sequential shifting as default has H-shifter as well but cant find out how to change that. Is that possible?

 

You mean the arms animations in the formula abarth? In that case it's not a H-shifter, it's sequential (as reported by the official site here.)
You can use sequential paddles on every car, and H-shifter only in the cars that have it.

 

Is it my setup or are you having this problem ?
Only some of the cars work with the H shifter and others with the sequential only, even though the virtual driver changes gear with a grer lever inside the car, I can`t and have to use the flappy paddles ??
If you want a list of what use H shifter and sequential I can list them tomorrow..

 

Please add the list. I have got yesterday a th8 and dont know which cars have sequential shifter. Thx

 

Update: With the car tags i found out that actual only 3 cars have a sequential shifter:
- Formula Abarth
- P4/5 Comp.
- BMW M3 GT2

 

You need to create a second profile.
In the second profile you assign you sequential shifter where you would assign petals.

 

Just define your controls in the launcher.
And yes not every stick is an h-shift stick, many race cars have sequential gearboxes but without paddles and use a stick instead. So you do up/down with a stick using sequential. AC probably doesn't care and will let you use paddles instead of 3/4 gear on the stick.

 

That can't be right, or maybe the tags are wrong, because the Lotus Evora GTC/GX are also sequential.

 

I just checked, running version 1.5 with no mods, and there are 18 cars under the sequential tag. So there is an issue on his end.
