I dont want to Moan or offend anyone but what the heck does Kunos think with such decissons and statements/answer's.

Pit stop setup, will we be able to have a proprietary app for that?
Not for now. One thing they will have about pit stop is single player pit stop. The original idea was actually to let you scramble with the mouse to create a more "exciting" pit stop. For the console release they'll see.

Exciting Pitstop? Are you CEREAL(Serious)? Guys isnt this suposed to be a Racingsimulation? How can you even say something like this? Rly this pisses me off once more. I mean i freaking fighting for every 1/10 of a Second on the Track and then the Pitstop is a gamble? My Rig is not like 2000$ worth. I cant Drive and Handle my Mouse at the same Time. I tryed it a few Times but my immersion (because i have to lean forward like 5 cm in front of the Monitor) is gone totaly and i always miss the Breakpoint for the Pit's. I lost up to 10 Seconds because of this. Im racing almost every week.

Something wich Kunos cant change but shoud make theme think about. I was using the Pit Config App. Some People are totaly Crazy and say People who use this App are Cheating.Rly what did you (Kunos) think about this? Did you even think about for 1 sec? Please its a Racing Simulation and not a Casinosimulator or whatever. If you Guys answer to thing's you always claim it to be the most realistic option. And you dont want to hear that your Game is Arcadish because of Apps like Helicorsa. But this Pitstopwindow is far from Reality did you forgot that? You Guy's use the arguments just like you want to. Simulation and Arcade but just for those things where it works for u. Let mi say this Pitstopp is Arcadish. The behavior of Cars beyond 140 Km/h is Arcadish. Nobody is gonna catch a Drift at 180 Km/h. Proffessional Drifters say this is not possible or it's totaly sick/crazy/suicidal.

Can you Please start to fix minor things wich change a lot in the experience? This Game is Realesed since 1 Year almost and it's still not finished it's still an Alpha and far from Beta. I Play and i enjoy Assetto Corsa but those small things always take the experince and the joy from it. I can say compared to others im a very patient Guy. Some stop playing after 200 h because they see that the Game is not Finished. I have played 1700 h im still enjoy it but not for Racing. Its always Cruising having fun and enjoy the enjoable things like FFB, Graphic's and funny things that happen.

Im still hoping for a big step forward in Area Sound. The immersion of the Sound is just so bad. It's way to Progressive and unvaried/uneventful. I thought with the FMOD everything is gonna change but suddenly the Cars still have the exact same Sound. Those clonking Rev Limiter's. Those poor sounding backfire's. Its all so Digital. Like Songs that havent been played on Instrument's. There is like 100 other Minor issue's not gonna count theme all.

I dont say stop making Content and Track's. Start to fix and implement stuff wich is important for Racing. Wich make's the experience more fun and enjoyable. Instead of making such a usless Pitstop you coud have improved the Tyremodel so we coud take diffrent compund's during endurance race's so it gets more exiting. More exciting on the Track and not in the Pit's.

It's always beeing said Kunos only has 15 employers. You cant do everything in 1 Month. Wich i get. But as you Guys are so small you shoud doublechek your Plans and stop wasting time on stuff wich only will get negative comments again and is more anoying then helpfull. Please start to manage your recourses and do stuff wich is important. Or if you do something do it right or dont do it at all. Because you are wasting our money for things wich are not finished.

Still Love the Game, still gonna play... but that are my thoughts and idea's to improve the Game...

It's not a simulator, those words came straight from Lord Kunos himself. Simulators cost tens of thousands of pound. AC is a driving GAME. But to your point I agree 100% we should have a preset pit option, really though do you get this angry when driving, if so you really need to calm down. It's only a game show.

Luckily for me, I'm enjoying hotlaps more than anything else. I almost never touch the setup of a car and never race online. Maybe I'm too stupid to notice that AC isn't finished but I'm rather pleased with AC as it is and every update is a plus.

Somebody should donate or invest a few hundred's of thousands of Euros to/in Kunos.

 

Some people have casually driven/raced AC for 800 hours and only have an interest in more serious racing. Not having a built in pit app makes all that hard work racing as hard as you can vanish. I for one also have my mouse too far away to easily click things. So should we just have racing leagues without any pitting at all? We cant trust a pit mod app to work for 100% of the players... So some will have an advantage, and even if you ban pit apps some people will have their mouse next to them and others wont. Its a crucial part of any racing simulator that just isnt there. I believe this also ties in to the slow decline in players, its greatly hampering the competitive aspect of this 'racing simulator'.

So yeah, chill out for the weekend? I take my fun seriously, and being competitive is relaxing to me. I just want to enjoy AC for much longer, hence the worry about this specific aspect of everyones favourite sim.

 

Yeah unluckyli im a Hothead. And sometimes it takes the fun away from me. I know i shoudnt handle it like this but not been so lucky in live till now... And always when i start the game it says your racing simulator. Im confused :S Just joking but actualy it is....

Kunos probably has closer to 30 employees now. It's their game and they have their own priorities. However, that doesn't make you wrong.

Things I would like to see:
- Stable MP
- Tyre smoke that is based on more parameters than just slip angle
- Being able to save the replay without needing to leave the server
- Some sort of way to see what controller people use to drive and an option to restrict it so keyboarders can't join.
- DRL's on all cars that have them IRL since we won't ever see actual functioning lights.
- A realistic approximation of different driving modes (sport, sport plus, race, track, etc)

I could go on

 

Exactly this. Just hope their prorities matches with our requirements. Pitstop is one area I personally feel they need to rethink. It is an integral part of racing whether SP or MP. Looking from the outside, to me it seems like last 3 months have gone into tyre model and physics changes. Realism in tyre model and physics is an ever changing goal in my opinion, so we can continue waiting patiently

Yea pit menu is pretty bad, you should be able to set pitstop strategy before you stop not after.

 

the game slogan says 'your racing simulator'; a while a go Dev stated that AC is a 'Driving simulator' - and it seems now its not a simulator.

If we think about it, the gamey aspect (AI/career) also lacks severely. So I wonder what AC is.

not taking a go at you or anything Horus, just commenting Kuno's quote. Do you have the original post from LK to get better clarification? Because Looking at as it is, out of context, seems ludicrous IMO given the circunstances.

It was in one of his Youtube chats. I have always thought of AC as a Sim, but he is absolutely correct to point out that all of these supposed Racing sims are nothing but games.

 

You know. Some people say you need skills with the mouse to be good. It's not enough to be good at driving. You need to have skills with mouse clicking

 

I think I understand his point better now (but IMO still strange nevertheless)
