1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Generic Im stuck on Intimediate Series 2 AMG series

    Ok I was moving along career mode just fine, didnt win all the races but got enough first places to unlock the next series. I did the IS1 series with all the lotus cars just fine and now I am upto Part 2 of the series with the Merc AMG and I am struggggggling. Its impossible to win the car is heavy, breaks poorly, has poor handling and poor acceleration all the other car AI's just break away on easy mode. Cant have a flawless race need traction on car is impossible to handle without it. The AI is godly anyone have ideas or beaten this series on console yet?

    this is quite horrible, takes a good while to get used too, turn really early, and also set your fuel load to about 15? liters the ai will pit on the last lap giving you a catchup time which can help :)

    Do they pit? I played 3 race events and didnt notice any of them enter the pits but then again I turned off fuel consumption as the races were like a few laps didnt think it was necessary. I have some aids on to factory and damage at 20% and tyre wear off cause after a few laps it was so tough to me to control the cars with no wheels

    nothing wrong with having driving aids on, its your game play how you want :), and yeah fuel consumption on, set the fuel as low as u can , so far 15 liters seems fine for most, do the race as normal, lose as normal like i do (usually), replay the race then they pit :D

    good to hear if they pit later. Im trying to get the IS2 career done and only the 1st race they pitted everything else they didnt but Ill keep replaying them, I hope they pit with the broken AI I just cant get the podium finishes to unlock the next event

    well i just had a few races and they even pitted at the END of the final lap!, so dont give up till you finish the race :)
