1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Is there any way to know what cars use TC/ABS by default?

I was wondering this when trying these different cars. I Imagine there's some ABS active per default in some cars. But which ones? Are there any lists out there to find out what the defaults are for these cars?

I only have the standard fanatec pot pedals in my rig; and the brakes in the KTM will lock up extremely easy if I don't set ABS; and that's even when I adjusted the brakes to give less pressure.

Not a big issue; but it would be very interesting to see which, if any, cars use this per default.

Tried to search for this to no avail, so I'm sorry if this has been asked already.

In this first release, exactly like the real counterparts, only KTM, Lotus 49 and M3GT2 have NOT abs.

It would be nice to have this information available for each car, not just ABS, but Traction Control, Auto Clutch, Gearbox, etc.

So, you can practice as if where the real car. And if a car has automatic and manual gearbox it could be indicated too.

Just an idea! Thanks for your great work!

Yes I think he means on the details screen for each car, we should have a list of things. Drive, Assists etc.

Yes, what I want to know is what the real life counterparts use per default in their setups.
Then maybe even be able to click a tickbox in the car selection page to activate or override specific car defaults for things like this?

Every car that has ABS has it enabled by default and TC is disabled by default. When set to PRO in the menu.

Some cars have also an electronic differential but you can't change anything on that.

how good does the ingame ABS work? I mean, does it come with a penalty, and if so, only for cars that don't have ABS irl?
I tried to measure the braking distance with the F458 with and without ABS, and it seemed pretty much the same. Are the wheels getting hotter under braking when using ABS, so you lose time in the following corner?
In short: will the fast guys turn it off even for cars that have it irl?
And will we have adjustable ABS in the GT3 cars, like irl?
