1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Hey guys,

As alot of you encounter, ALOT of servers have terrible drivers that either don't know what they are doing or they refuse to. I get rammed all the damn time while trying to maintain my line (I use all mirrors when starting on grid)

edit by mod: try again using a polite language and watch your attitude, thanks You don't get any penalty for ramming (love taps not included).. I mean, everyone can get tangled in a slight accident (part of racing) but just not braking for a corner and taking out the field is ridiculous without a penalty system on that. They could f.e. make a Drive-Through penalty system. Which is much better i.m.o.

I don't know how many of you feel the same way, but I hope Kunos can take a look in to making it fun again, this is just irritating!

Well, if it is like in the beta.... It's worth nothing the drivers rating system of GT Sport, and by the way, it will only work in the sport mode...not The Custom Online Lobbies... Sayd by PD on the beta support forum.

You get rammed and kicked out of the track and receive also negative "sportive" points even it isn't your fault...

The best way still to have good online racing is in private lobbies with people who you know.. :p

Build up your friends list with good drivers that you meet while racing on-line. That way you can create an environment which keeps you happy and playing. If you join random lobbies, then you take your chances no matter which sim you play.

Also, and I keep on saying this - don't be there when things happen. You have to learn to drive more defensively and "not be there". You have to learn where problems are more likely to happen and how to avoid getting entangled in them. Should you have to do this? Yes, even in street traffic in every-day driving. If you learn to drive faster, then you are less likely to get entangled with careless drivers who tend to be slower.

In my opinion, this is the best advise for tackling online MP. I'm pretty lucky to mostly play racing games, so my I've built up a pretty decent friends list of fast and fair drivers over the years.

For sim racing, I think you need to slightly change your attitude a little too, As much as I love winning a race I don't let that become my main objective at all costs, I set myself other goals like having lap times within a few tenths of the leaders, or a nice fast race with no mistakes.

I find this leads to better results in the long run, and most importantly more fun.
