1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Generic Request for LMP2 cars

    I know this is Marco's business and is not going to be very productive to post it here, but maybe is useful to know the community's opinion: with 4 GT2/GTE/LMGT (2009, 2011, 2014, 2017) and 4 LMP1 (2014, 2015, 2016) I think LMP2 cars should be added as soon as possible.

    With just the Oreca from 2017, you could have like 5-6 teams and almost the whole category. So the relation effort/benefit would be huge. Now there isn't any LMP2 cars and the WEC/Lemans races are a bit empty. Those 4 LMP1 and 4 GTE are a bit wasted.

    It would be very nice!As a console player,with the upcoming custom championships in the new update,i would love to do multi class races with lmp1 Cars,lmp2 and GT.Its a shame we dont have la sarthe,but there still is spa and Silverstone to recreate real races from WEC

    It would be fantastic to get an LMP2 as we could do 'proper' multi-class races. Even if we got the last generation of LMP2 such as the Oreca 05.

    Kunos have a partnership with Dallara, in that they provide simulator software I think, so hopefully something could come of that.

    Yeah! Would be great to have LMP2 class in Assetto Corsa, Make a custom wec championship with mulitclass LMP1,LMP2 and GT cars.

    The dallara would be great, and the alpine also...

    Lets see if marco can do something!

    La sarthe would be great to have also as track, but is already know that it don't gonna happen... But with Silvertone, spa,monza and the incoming Highlands track we can do some quite good races already...

    And trying to get the license of the COTA track??? Really would like it...

    I'm looking at the upcoming Highlands circuit as my Le Mans type location. Very long with significant straights and a more technical section.

    Haha yeah you could add one car and have the entire WEC field. Speaking of that, we actually don't have any of the current cars in the WEC until the new 911 comes.

    The only possibility for Assetto to have an extense grid from one year would be that Kunos gets the WEC license (without restricting other games from having it, like Poly has done with Pikes Peak). Now that every game/sim is picking some license for itself (Dirt/WRX, GT/PikesPeak, IRacing/Blancpain, Raceroom/DTM) would be glorious to have WEC on Assetto. Problem is IRacing would perform a better representation of the championship and I don't believe Kunos is really interested on it.

    By the way, and according to the request of LMP2 cars, don't forget the ByKoles :D

    The ByKolles can range from LMP1.5 - LMP2.5 depending on conditions. So hit and miss.

    Speaking seriously, ByKoles could be difficult to have it on the game. Not sure if Koles has the money to send the car (or the interest) to Vallelunga.

    Would be great to have some LMP2 cars for sure in Assetto..

    But for the oficial licence.... Quite dificult without having dynamic Day-night cycle And missing the most iconic track of the championship calendar (24H le mans)..

    I find that a game as project C.A.R.S 2 has more possibility to achieve an official WEC license.

    Keeping with the requests, the ByKoles would be great...
    The Ginetta LMP2 would also be welcome :p

    Munoz provide assetts to Dallara, not sure about the software but going by a comment Marco made, I don't think so. Speaking of Dallara, hope we get their upcoming sports car in game, maybe Kunos already modeled it for Dallara?

    * Yes, yes. I know they're not WEC LMP2 spec, but they're based on FIA LMP2, and modified to IMSA's DPi standard. They're just so damn good looking, and they could be BoP to LMP2 pace!

    I love how IMSA went out of their way to accommodate a unique look on the DPi cars (where manufacturers wanted it). The Mazda DPi car looks like a Mazda. The Cadillac DPi car looks like a Cadillac. As much as I love WEC, I do wish the cars had some design queues from their manufacturers road going counterparts.
