1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    To be fair, on this last update the setups were finally saved... It seems the problem was solved (at least for me).

    jap, it worked for about 5 - 6 setup savings, now i have the same problem again no carsetup savings posible... for one hour i had a big smile on my face... only for one hour ;)

    I get the occasional setup save failure on PS4 also. Was using a Red Pack car this time. My saved setup at Nords wasn't there the next time I played.

    Mines still not saving with the update. I've never managed to save one that stuck beyond the current session. Its frustrating that they give no response..I tagged @AC_CM505 who actively posts elsewhere in this forum but still nothing. I would settle for a 'we are aware of the problem but still haven't found a solution' response because at least it shows some acknowledgement of the HUGE issue.

    I did contact support about it, they said to delete all version of the saved game.

    Not a perfect solution!

    I have also now lost all the setups I managed to save since deleting the saves and reinstalling from scratch last time, so I'm back to doing it in a notebook. At least that can be trusted.

    So yea its not anything new, we just have to deal with things as they are until its eventually corrected.

    Yep, saved about 4 setups after this latest patch and it showed back up. Just started taking pictures of the setups on my phone and saving them to specific albums so I can find them quickly. Faster and easier than writing them all down at least.

    Good idea, or screenshots on the Xbox. I don't mind the logging them as such as that's always a good idea on the Xbox with its historical problems of corrupt saves but it doesn't alleviate the real pita which is having to enter them in the game every single time.

    Is there anyone with a genuine willingness to help from the dev team that can give us real answers, or maybe anything other than stating "talk to our support team"?

    I'm starting to wonder if there is someone is just "laughing till it hurts" at the rest of us who have the issue.

    Maybe the guys who act as honorary forum police and strike down all of our complaints as outlandish, and ridiculous, are actually the one's responsible for the lack of progress on real issues?

    Let me post a stupid picture like "uh.. OK" and hope that gets the ball moving.

    I've been going on about this bug now on lots of different threads, no official response on any of them.

    Game setups save hasn't worked right on xbox since day of release.

    We save setup name everything good. switch xbox off turn on tune vanished every thing lost. Sometimes you can keep stuff for a few days but eventually everything vanishes.

    Lots of xbox users are reporting this, none are getting satisfactory replies.

    Kunos/505 please come back to use with some answers, stop ignoring us this has been happening for 6 months.

    ok plan of action, we need to keep this thread at top of the page in here. There is another thread in xbox discussions, setups not saving, this needs to be kept at top of page as well. so if anyone sees it slipping down the page add something to it to put it back to the top.

    Setups not saving after 6 months.

    It's not just setups, the career doesn't save as well after a while. So for me doing the career is pointless.
