1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Slim rev lights app?

I would like to have a simple rev lights app like to be seen in this video.

As you see, it is a thin bar only , no obtrusive mega-app with thousands of functions and data displays that reach far into the monitor image. There are many apps doing the latter, you see them at RD in AC app sections when searching for "rev lights". They almost all do far too much.

Just a bar with 9 or 12 or 15 coloured LEDs, like the LED rev lights on fanatec wheelbases - thats what I want. And a gear indicator.

Unfortunately the app in the vidoe is an old one, is not updated, and does not work in my AC of today. :( Seems to have been nice.

Would be nice if it meets in size and style with Sidekick, since that is what I use.

While I am at it: is there a virtual mirror app, that can be moved around, resized? The default mirror is fixes, big , and often righ in that place where I do not want it.

An app to replace the Kunos default for the info bar getting displayed right at the top rim of the screen, and making the place available for moving other apps a little bit higher up there, also would be nice.

I saw PDash before, but it already is way too much, it is a MOTEC display, too big, too much clutter. I talk about the Kunos default rev "clock", just not round and so obtrusive, but linear, as a slim bar made of LEDs (for better immersion). Somethign like you see with Fanatex hardware, with a numerical display of the current gear. Speed better is another small numerical windows, like in the first video.

That way you can best integrate both things into your current camera option. You want that to be not obstrusive, yet being noticable to periheral vbision without needing to stare at it.

This is an example from Fanatec.

Imagine to cut off the number LED below, just have the rev lights, and the number LED fpor gear in a second, small window, at least havign beside the lights, not under them. This is a box, not a slim bar.

Another (animated, would need a single numerical number-LED for displaying the gear as well).:

Nothing fancy. Nothing big. No data overload. I do not watch at all that stuff when driving. I prefer to have as little data displays on screen a spossible. Even Sidekick I often switch off, and that is a very small app, I like it a lot.

Mostly I switch gears by ear anyway, but in some cars that have more torque and need to be pushed to higher than suual gear, this doe snot work too well and makes me geariung up way too early. Then I need a clue about the really correct shifting point. The Ford Escort on my mind, or the DTM Mercedes. I always under-rev (can one say that?) them.
