Snap oversteer like PJC NOW

So I don't know if it's me or the latest update but every car seems to have snap oversteer now! You used to be able to catch the slide now it's almost impossible! Cars that used to handle amazing wide open like the 458 Italia now the back end just wants to swing out by itself for no apparent reason did something change I mean I play both with the wheel and controller but it's happening on both even with TC on! I would love to have pressure controll for the accelerator and brakes!

Also I watch a replay of a race I did on alien in the AI cockpit view. Do an alien race and watch the AI cockpit view either they have different threshold on the tire models and pressure sensitive gas and brake or the programming is way off! I was in the lead at silver stone next thing I know the car behind me came from no where no sliding nada and was gone like a rocket ship same car 458 italia mean while my car slight tap on the gas in a turn going to fast and round she goes ! Anyone else have this issue ? Tell me I'm not crazy I'm not new to racing played them all and this one for months but something somewhere changed without them saying anything unless they don't know

 

I genuinely thought the opposite. I've managed to catch slides and continue with a thrustmaster F1 wheel spinning wildly.

 

Yeah I haven't noticed snapped over-steer being more-so. In fact I'm setting personal bests in every car/track I try.

I have had to change my setups slightly but in fact I've adding back some negative camber to the rear because it's much easier now to come on throttle gently and find maximum traction.

Are you on Xbox, are you using tx wheel. I ask these questions because there's a few of us who play the game with this combo. We have noticed that since version 1.12 there's some sort of auto dor happening to wheel base. The tx base used to stop on 900 dor and now it's auto adjusting itself as car is drop on track. The control of cars since update on tx wheel isn't as good as it was.

 

I'm on a PC and Fanatec v2. The 458 has changed quite a bit with the new tire model, but I have less over-steer than before. The car for me that had the most difficult snap over-steer was the KTM xbow which now is almost too easy. In fairness I've never driven one but have driven a radical- short wheel base, lots of power relative to weight usually exhibits this trait. At any rate I have significant less.

 

When I downloaded the update I was playing with the controller for a bit and for some reason I get a ton of oversteer on almost every car but last night I went back to using my cheap wheel the t80 and it was much better! I was good with both but now with the controller it seems much hard for some reason! I can't wait until I get the T150 I know it's not up there with the best but can't afford a 400 wheel at the moment lol I'm in PS4 by the way
