1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Some problems with the focus during replay

    Hello folks!

    In the Screenshot thread i already asked this question, but as its only for showing screens, i thougt i might better start a new thread on this.

    I have a PP Filter in my collection which is called "AC - TLM". I honestly have ni clue where i have it from. I have so many filters, i lost the overwiew.

    My problem is, that the focus isnt on the car. If i use other filters with DOF enabled, the focus sits perfectly on the car. Only with this it seems to be a problem. This bugs me.

    Here a few shots where you can see it:

    The Focus alway is behind the car. Do you have an idea where this comes from?

    Thanks in advance :)

    It will be one of the focal settings in the DOF section of the PPFilter. Check the one you downloaded against default and maybe you will see which line/s need changing.

    P.S. Remember to turn off Chromatic Aberration, it makes a massive difference to the sharpness of AC. I also turn auto exposure off as it is about as annoying as a thing gets to have the light levels going up and down all the time, most annoying.

    I checked the DOF settings but could not find the right setting. But i checked the other filters again, too and it seems to be a problem of the camera, not the filter. In the filter i mentioned the blur is more extreme than in the other (eg default) filters, so you see it more.
    ive turned the CA and AE off now, thank you!

    So, i guess theres no way to fix my problem?

    I'm sure there is, but I am not the best at filter manipulation. For sure either the creator of the filter or someone who knows their way around it will help you soon enough. Give me an hour or so and I will have another look but I am busy making a theme for a website right now. I WILL BE BACK! :D

    Where do we find this Chromatic Aberration setting so as to turn it off?

    *:\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg\ppfilters

    Find these lines in the ini file of the filter you use and turn that sucker off. Same with Auto exposure if you desire.

    [CHROMATIC_ABERRATION]
    ENABLED=1 (turn to 0 to stop the silliness)
    ; SetChromaticAberrationParameters()
    SAMPLES=5
    LATERAL_DISPERSION=0.007,0.007
    UNIFORM_DISPERSION=0,0
