All is in title. You, AC dev team, how can you call your milions lines of code a car simulation if i can't drive in the grass with no speed limit ? ( destroying the virtual planet, i know ).
So, i suggest you to remove the horrible "50km/h or wait for 4 secondes". There enough automatic radars, in France that make my driver-life like a bad trip.

Je sais je détruit la planète virtuelle. Puis je vous suggérer, d'enlever cet horrible "Roulez moins vite sinon je tue ce petit chat".
Il y assez de radars automatiques en France qui font de ma vie de conducteur un enfer.

Je trouve que le bitume du circuit Imola est un peu trop glissant et l'herbe au abords de la piste, trop adhésive ; ) Not in the english version.

 

You can disable it in one of the .ini files, cant remember which at the min.

 

In hot lap i can't. Other side i think the restriction will not apear in race in MP or against I.A

 

Agreed, that is so arcadish. Just penalize the lap time or invalidate the specific lap but non apply god-brakes in my car!

I understand, that it's necessary to establish rules. But i have the rage, and my lap in Imola won't go under 1.46 with the BMW GT 2.

 

That's a driver skill problem, nothing to do with any penalty system 41's are easily achievable perfectly legally.

 

Moose, post your video of your 1.41 lap, i'm very curious to see how, you made it.

Here's a great guide though. Helped me with the lines and correct gears.

 

In Practice Mode, there are no penalties. So, try it there. Is there a difference to Hotlap Mode anyway?

 

Only difference is the slow down penalties. Apart from that it's exactly the same as far as i can tell.

 

What is your fastest time ?
I got a 1:41:976 since 2 days or so

Plenty more to come though I did a few laps, got that time just to get the steam achievement and stopped. With some serious track time and setup tweaking i'm hoping to make big improvements on that.
