1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Didn't notice the weird number. Guess it fits the car perfectly. :D

    BTW I would really love to see that on Assetto Corsa. It's a monster not only by its look. 600 hp and the driving ability of a boat.

    Have not seen it, but I know for sure it's a (rare) jewel. Binaural videos of cars were difficult to find until very recently (now seems some youtube channels are making the effort). It could be a revolution if they apply it for TV broadcasts.

    I would have thought they'd have much more elaborate recording than just recording in stereo. Binaural recordings only really work with headphones so unless everyone's going to watch TV wearing headphones I don't think it would catch on or be worth the effort.

    Even wearing headphones watching a TV broadcast it may not work to well if you're audio is fixed and not matching up with what you're seeing on the screen.

    It works the best with headphones, but with speakers is a bit noticeable (and even more with surround systems). Probably is what you said, they think it doesnt worth the effort in terms of investment. But I hope that changes some time in the future, as the experience with binaural sound is remarkable.

    I think it is quite interesting/cool but I certainly wouldnt call it pretty. I was browsing RSC website and saw the M1C was similar pace to the 935/78 at Riverside and wondered what it looked like... it didnt disappoint :D

    There is a guy who wrote a program that "spits out" rally type tracks after you feed it with values for corner density, elevation density, track width etc. Not meant only for AC, but its ease of modding made it the first use for the program.

    Very promising... @Lord Kunos , you may look for that loose surface code again you once teased us with ;)

    Any way of getting the mesh that it creates exported as an FBX or OBJ?

    Want to do some car animations in C4D and a procedural rally stage mesh creator would be great (I wouldn't use the textures or lighting or anything else, just the geometry).
