i had a contact with c.o.w for a moment couple of years ago. It was looking good for obtaining data until responses went flat and delays came to the grant for the land. anyway it think its just another super safe Tilke track which i don't really like.

I was just recently made aware of this joke and I was hoping someone would say it, I just didn't want to be the one who said it.

 

Scotland has plenty of room for a track that could be away from everything, but there's a lot of protected land in Scotland isn't there?

 

we had fantastic land laws, The green belt they used to call it, but money and development takes over and that's still legit over and above all laws it seems. , plenty land here although much of it private and preserved. I used to live on the edge of Glasgow, place called Carmunnock. right on the edge, in an historically preserved village. where you couldn't just build or knock down anything, an utterly gorgeous place, it could have the greatest race tracks if it wanted too. but the creep of new houses is ruining the green belt all over Scotland.

 

I'm further North in Aberdeenshire, and whilst there is tons of great land for a racetrack (and I'd love for it to happen), I think it being further South in the central belt would be much more practical for actually getting spectators to show up transportation wise.

 

id like to create that fictional Scottish track. but done like a real one would be done. without Tilke of course. I love the st Andrews area and the coast there. Perthshire I think its called.

lol I'm sure theres a farmer of two willing to sell up many acres. and we too can have sheep vs race tracks problems !

 

St Andrews is in the Kingdom of Fife, on the south bank of the Firth of Tay.

 

Again, Reiza did not release a single official livery or any other official f1 content. Their fantasy liveries were too close to real ones according to FOM and Reiza didn't want to take any risks.

At least ye have some sort of zoning laws, we have nothing of the sort in Ireland, there is probably no place in Ireland you can stand and not see a house in some direction, the countryside is littered with one off housing. It makes infrastructure and amenities horribly expensive. There's really no room left for something like a racetrack because all those one off houses have a "nowhere near me" policy when it comes to just about any public amenity.

 

I can wait for Laguna but in the meantime The Glen would be welcome

 

I agree, and I say more calling reiza amateurs makes him look like an a.hole, so much love has been put into gsce and ams and soon "ams 2", that a bit of respect is always good measure.

 

Lilski’s version will be worth the wait, I assume. It’s his next track-project if I’m not wrong.

For me and some friends there is a problem atm to play online on pc, can't load server list. I hope it is nothing major

 

same here, no servers in the list.

Yes, it seems there is some issue with the lobby server (offline or doesn't work).
