1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Triple Screen Discussion

    Like every update till now I quickly searched for a "Triple screen support is here!" line in the changelog but still no dice. I hope I'm wrong but I'm afraid they will not be able to implement it.

    Steam does keep count, see Multi-monitor desktop resolution. Although it doesn't seem to say how many use a multi monitor setup vs. one screen. But would think it's still more common than VR, since simracers may have bought their triple setup 10 years ago. Or ones who have both

    Thanks for this, very interesting, I am very surprised about the large numbers of users using multi monitor setups. I thought we "triple racers" are nerds, but I am totally wrong...

    Imo there is far more people with triple support than in VR... they should provide it asap, because a lot of them will go or stay on the other sims (iRacing, Raceroom etc)

    If you check the details though most are dual-monitor setups (2 x 1920x1080)

    True most are dual screen, and that statistic seems hard to interpret because it doesn't seem to tell how big % actually has any multi-screen. Just shows how the multi-screen resolutions are divided.

    But I find it hard to believe triple screen wouldn't be still very common among sim racers. It used to be the "only proper" way to drive for so many years. Kind of like VR is now for many. Lot of sim racers invested into that along the years, and you could get 1 screen first, then expand etc... For example if you have dual screen with identical size monitors, jump into triples isn't that big. Arrival of VR doesn't mean all those old triple setups suddenly vanished

    That number (3840 x 1080) could also include the super-wide 49" monitors from Samsung.
    Also, I'm a bit surprised that 5760 x 1080 isn't mentioned.

    I guess, dual Monitor setups are popular amongst players, when they want to stream their stuff. So for potential Simracers, we should looks for the native Triple Screen resolutions 3x1080p 3x1440p and 3x2160p.
    But that doesn't tell us really how much it is used in the actual Racing Sims. I think this is crucial for the priority of the developers.

    3*2560 + Frame compensation 2*55 =7790 is my setup.
    Don't forget wqhd resolution.

    vertical true, but I haven't stacked them one over another. They are standing side by side, so it is 2560*3 wide(+110 Frame compensation), not 1440*3 high.

    Want to say, that I am one of the 48% others, because everybody with triples has different frame compensation settings.
    So 48% are potential triples.

    Of course I meant 3 monitors horizontally. I only used the vertical pixels, because it's the usual way to classify them (besides WQHD, UHD, etc.) and I was too lazy to calculate the vertical pixels ;)

    I can understand the frustration, but if they are still fighting performance issues on a single view port dont you think its smart to have it figured out first for that as best as they can before adding even another layer of complexity ? besides theres so much fundamental systems still being developed..... the focus might be on that...

  17. The thing is VR/Tripple Screen Users are the ones suffering, bought it on the very first day. Must have not more than 2 hours on it. It is simple not playable for me. Specially when I have iR and AC with fully tripple support.

    The only thing I can do is wait....

    But shouldn't they have figured that out before deciding to go UE ?
    If they did, it's a slap in the face for VR and triple users.
    Maybe (surely) there is more money in consoles...
