1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    That replaces 2 monitors, not 3. 3840*1080.

I'm a bit iffy on the resolution though, it seems a bit too low for such a ginormous monitor... even with tons of AA I doubt the image would look as crisp as a big 4k screen at a normal sim racing monitor placement right in front of the wheel. I've tested both the LG 34UM60 (a 34 inch 2560x1080 ultrawide) and LG34UM90 (a 34 inch 3440x1440 ultrawide) side by side at a demo running Battlefield 4 and the mad blurriness of the image quality on the lower res one was beyond unacceptable when compared to even the little 27 inch 1440p monitor I had back home when viewing at a similar distance. The higher res one looked perfect though, and we are talking about 34 inchers here. So I really wouldn't impulse buy a 42 that is running at such a low res without testing it out first especially at that retarded high price. :p

I doubt it will be a problem. Have been using 4K 42" for over a year, sitting 30" in front, even moving nose close it's hard (impossible) to spot individual pixels. All that at native resolution, down scaling is different issue altogether, to play 1440p I had to use Min sharpening preset on monitor or it did as you say "looked blurry", with that in place it's virtually identical to native res.
I am glad that finally mainstream monitor makers recognized demand for bigger monitors, no need to re purpose TVs or use some Korean no name monitor brands anymore.

No, coming from a "smaller" monitor, you can definitelly spot the pixelation on a 42 I tried at home. It sure is tempting though for not having to deal with 3 monitors, but they should have made the 49 screen same as the other 2 at 1440p. I think it's good enough even if it's 2 monitors worth of space and not 3. The few times I have tried triples, half of the 2 side monitors are not much use to me and were there just for peripheral, but no real info added. Not cheap though :p

1920x1080 on a 27" monitor is pretty rubbish. Since this is practically the same physical size as two 27" panels, I also reckon it should have been 5120x1440.

^ This exactly. The pixel density is gonna be really low on this screen. It's just too damn big to be running that low of a resolution... especially for the 1500$ asking price it is just meh, should have been a higher res panel.

Yep. Looks terrible. I was willing to pay 800 € for the Predator Z35 but the ghosting and smearing was unacceptable. IPS or wait for whatever good comes next. The pixel density could be another deal braker...how high is the panel...like a 24" or more?

The 32:9 is awesome, for sure.
