1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    We're pleased to announce that Update v 1.03 is available to download on PlayStation® 4 NOW!

    ASSETTO CORSA V 1.03 FIXES AND ADDITIONS

    Graphics
    • Framerate is now smoother.
    • Screen tearing issues have now been resolved.

    Quick Races
    • Players will now be able to select their starting position in the race options screen. • Gamepad algorithms have been improved, resulting in better handling.

    Controls
    • On launching Assetto Corsa, the game will now recognize the device you are using, when selecting the ‘X’ button in the start screen.
    • A 'Reset to Default' option has now been added that resets the gamepad settings to recommended values.
    • Thrustmaster T80, T100 and TH8 shifter functionality has been improved.
    • A new option has been added which allows the player to set the visual steering lock to a degree of their choice.

    AI Opponents
    • 2 additional difficulty levels have been added – 'Very Easy' and 'Very Hard'.
    • AI strengths have been re-balanced, in response to community feedback.
    • Algorithms have been improved.

    FREE BONUS CONTENT!
    • The Black Cat County track is now available as part of Update v 1.03: Get ready to enjoy its three different configurations: Long, Short and Intermediate!
    • This fictional scenery comes with a bonus FREE car model, the Maserati Levante S, the first Maserati SUV! This is a great chance to enjoy the advanced physics level of the simulation with a different kind of vehicle.
    • The latest update introduces a new technical partnership with SPARCO, an Italian company that designs, produces and sells motorsport safety equipment, seats and more.     I dont play single player i never do...Yes it runs smoother so great job there but as for everything else its no different for me i can really see this as the end for Assetto on console :(.WHEEL + BUTTON CONFIGURATION / CUSTOM SERVERS thats all Assetto needs to save it.

    Just downloaded and tested the "Very Easy" setting in the career mode where I was stuck in the GT Series and lapped most of the field! Excited to try the other difficulty levels now to see how they have been re-balanced.

    PS - When I entered the Career mode it also gave me a Hyper Car trophy I was owed!

    Not sure if this one is just a placebo but the behaviour of the P1 and the F40 S3 feels different, less of the nasty skating lift off oversteer rear end and they seem to have better feel through the wheel...

    Funny you say that Graveltrap. I was just driving the GT3 BMW and thought the same thing (probably just me). It does not mention it but I wonder if the tires model was updated or something and just not listed.....

    well the on the patch note in game it says the Japanese dlc is also available. guess whats not on the psn store! those of us that bought the season cant down load it as its not in the store. and when we try in the game it says the cars aren't available?

    this update is a joke there is no wheel support for the thrustmaster t80 you cannot adjust ANYTHING. car turns to the left becuase no deadzone setting. even if there was a deadzone then i can't adjust steering rotation to account for the deadzone. steering speed is way off i turn my wheel a few degrees and the cars cut left or right extremly fast. listen if you guys want to make games for SONY and call it a simulator then it needs to work with officaly licensed sony peripherals---which it does not. so yeah, you guys made one really bad ARCADE RACER
