1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Virtual side mirrors?

    They would be nice!

To quote another member on why we need them:

With the virtual mirrors, I could at least see the ability to prevent accidents when someones in the blind spot between being in front of you and behind you when you're not sure if someone can actually manage to break in time or locks up. The arrows don't really help sometimes, especially at the first corner, and the app with the boxes around you is too immersion breaking for me.

I spotted a couple of topics that discussed them, but not in suggestions, and none of them has a semi-official nor official answer.

    Difficulty of implementation?

You can always use look left/look right and bind them to buttons on your steering wheel that you can easily reach when driving. But I agree that virtual side mirrors would be nice.

Or download Real head motion with the fix that was posted, disable the look to apex roll/pitch and just use the look left/right/over the shoulder feature

I don't have this problem myself as a triples user but this here is a great suggestion. Yes, look left and right is nice but when you consider the majority of people use something like a G27 with limited on-wheel controls, binding two of them to these sets a limitation. ETS2 does a nice and simple implementation of virtual side mirrors, even with triples I can't see both the mirrors in that game due to fov which makes that feature brilliant. And more importantly, not having to press a button to see whats right next to you frees up more brain time to dedicate to racing the thing next to you rather than guesstimating where the opponent is, I guess it'd work like the added peripheral awareness you get on triples but for a single screen user. rF2 has this feature too but I don't use virtual mirrors in racing sims myself since the ones on the car do the job fine for me so haven't got much experience with it over there. :)

This + real time mirrors that show the car in them would be absolute golden additions. :D
