1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

Hi kunos , well all 3 major titles are out now and I think it's fair to say they all bring something different to the party, but for me AC is still the sweetest handling model of them all, however I think it's fair to say the actual game is shall we say lacking in some areas, could you shed any light on future plans for the game , mainly a complete reworking of how the online lobbies work , I know your a small team and it takes time and money to do things but have you not considered teaming up with a bigger partner and making AC2 , which if you can include more tracks ( for me this is much more important than more cars ) better lobbies and some sort of online quick race option you could end up with the greatest driving game on the market, as for now , I get frustrated with Pcars 2 and GT sport while fun doesn't offer the level of realism I'd really like, leaving me a bit in no mans land, so come on kunos , get your finger out, make the best driving game out there, you know you want to :)

It's a small effort to keep yourself updated, check forum news, twitter or f.i. watch videos from the recent Simexpo. Much easier than expecting the devs answering to threads like these :)

I wasn't really expecting a reply , it's was more for encouragement, if the game doesn't grow it'll fade away with the competition moving forward more quickly especially on console, also I'm very lazy

seeing as the cost of real tracks seems to be out of kunos's reach
how about some made up circuits ?

NO! The whole point of AC is the lazer scanned tracks, the accurate models and the best FFB/physics out there right now. Let's face it from what I have read AC is still rubbing shoulder, sometimes beating, the competition from the most modern games out. So I think Kunos are doing exactly what we want, great sim with the chance of AC2 blowing out minds.

Still there's no doubt it does lack in tracks, my only gripe with AC to be honest. On PC there are modded tracks for those who don't care whether they are laserscanned or not; on console, there's no way to add anything up to the base content.

So, yes, if they produced non laser scanned tracks for people who might be interested and issued them through DLCs, that would be a great move imo. Zandvoort and all the non scanned historic circuits leave no doubt as to what amazing stuff those fellows are capable of delivering, regardless of being or not being scanned. I would no doubt gladly buy such DLC, as many other people would likewise do, I guess.

I'd love more tracks on AC, I'm so excited for Laguna.

Even mod ones that could be polished up and put out as DLC would be great.

Don't expect an AC2 in the next 18 months. Kunos are researching tech for their next project. There's a couple of good recent interviews worth watching.
There is a lack of tracks, but consider GTS just released after 4 years and only has 6 real world tracks.

I've said before that fantasy circuits is better than no circuits, after all if you don't want to drive them don't, its simples , also for people on PC to say no to fictional circuits is a bit rough as they have a lot more content than us console users , but I guess some people like to think that driving the circuits in a game is just like real life, I'm afraid I've got news for you, it's a world apart .

I can only tell you what could be my "wishlist":
    - More Tracks, also fantasy if necessary. GT is living since 1998 with High Speed Ring, Autumn Ring, etc....
    - more Race Cars. For my taste there are already enough road cars
    - better car classes identification and at least 5 cars per each class
    - more racing liveries, no matter if from fantasy
    - license system and strong penalties for idiot driving in multiplayer
    - weather variable conditions (Kunos already said that whatever game they will do it will have weather variable conditions)
    - one step forward moving from customs championship to customs career introducing the possibility to connect each championship with rules and conditions to pass to the next one. This for me should be the best innovation as nobody have it
    - at least 24 cars on track
    - full race replay
    - graphic improvement possibly having also some animations

These above are the main features I should like to find in AC2 but I believe that it will still need a long time before to go.
