1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Seems like those new owners aren't doing bad after all.
    They're going to get the F1 to race there each year from next year for about 5 years and now the WTCC coming to there? Dang.. great job!

    Well, they're not going to race F1 on the Nordschleife but they are trying to extend it's duration on the GP track so it doesn't switch each year between Nurburgring & HH. Could be a better deal -> more people who visit -> more turnover.

    It's a Dutch article, so GG reading it :p
    But it says that the new owners of the track have an agreement with Ecclestone to have the German GP over at the GP track for the next 5 years (2015-2020).

    I opened this thread expecting to find a wind up, or some sort of sim racing event...???

    Hopefully this will lead to more events using the track. Cars are much safer now, I realize prompt marshaling is an issue though. I would imagine it's not much fun for spectators either only seeing the cars 5 times per race or so.

    Is it that dangerous really? More dangerous than somewhere like Le Mans or Il de Notre Dame for instance?

    Most of the corners on the Nordschleife are 2nd or 3rd gear, OK there's no run off but then that goes for other tracks. Alterations in the 70s removed the big jumps and widened the track in quite a few places, it's not the track it was in the 60s. Cars are much safer now, drivers are protected from deceleration injuries by HANS devices. The major problem I can envisage is the sheer length of the lap making medical support take longer to arrive.

    More like 3/4/5 and 6 gear at some parts:rolleyes: there is only ~4 corners (from 154!!!) where you might need 2 gear (T13, Adenauer forst, Wehrseifen, Karussell)

    What I'm trying to say is the Nordschleife was never a high speed circuit like, historic Spa, Silverstone, Hockenheim, Monza et al.
