1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Nah mate, I really think the DPI cars are really stunning, the Cadillac as well, and really good performers on the track, it's the most interesting series at the moment for me :D.
    @andy-riches: I don't like the front splitter on that one.

    SO very wrong. The R32 GTR was developed from the ground up to dominate Group A racing, in its development Nissan looked over Group A rules carefully and built a car that would maximize every available option to win, which it did very successfully. 2 year of domination in Australian Group A was enough for the rules to be changed to essentially disallow it.

    Just a quick thinking about AC and future, let me know what you think guys.
    From a lot of time I see the only "wow" factor about AC, at least for me, are the new DLCs where you can try new cars etc.. Sometimes new features but I think for most of us the game is going to be always less and less attractive. Isn't it? The only way to get excited is because I can try a new track new cars, see how they handle but then after a few days here come the silence.

    Is it only my case? I do not say is bad the game, but is becoming old, and after enjoying some laps is becoming boring. I have a lot of time to use the game but I quit easily after few time.

    It was a bit like it for me before I started to race online.
    At each DLC I played more, and then depending on my mood I played AC more or less, sometimes didn't play for a few days or even weeks.


    But since I race online I'm more hooked than ever.
    Actually, I'm always looking forward to new DLCs, but by now the first 1-2 weeks after a new DLC are sometimes less enjoyable than any normal day.
    With new DLCs you have to use the new content since servers with usual grids will be pretty much empty.
    With each DLC pack we had to adjust the server grids to get traffic, which usually also means a lot more ppl. joining who are reckless or not used to online racing.


    So at least I don't see any fading interest for AC on my side.
    Once you found servers you like and even more with other drivers you know, it's highly enjoyable on a long term basis.

    Not for me, you know it's just driving.. you turn left, you turn right. AC is about as good as it gets. I can play only so much, until I get bored with cars anyway, need some war strategy, FPS shooting or close PC. But I play AC at pretty steady pace offline (and some online, although less lately), regardless of DLCs. Often using same cars, many of them stock content. Think I'm gonna play AC for years. In small, frequent doses. DLC or no DLC

    It doesn't really matter to me if the car is new or old, the driving is always very engaging. But then again.. it's just driving. You need something else, then you return

    I'd say AC is suited better for people who would do actual track days on a regular basis more then the casual gamer. I can happily lap the Nordschleife all day every day in AC or real life :)
