1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    But the base Skyline wasn't, the GT-R wasn't a separate car at that time and Nissan didn't build the model just to go racing. Call me wrong all you want...

    The base skyline was not built first and then the GTR made from that, they were developed together simultaneously with the point of going racing. 32 GTR is in no way a modified version of some other road car.

    Yeah right, the R32 Skyline GT-R and the JTC GT-R that raced from 1990 on are totally not based on the R32 Skyline that came on the market over a year earlier. Got it. :rolleyes: You're likely correct that both were developed at the same time, I wouldn't expect it differently. But it wasn't a race car first road car second with road-car sales being secondary like you want to imply, that's for certain. Plus, I wasn't just talking about the R32 you brought up, I was talking about the whole Skyline lineage. Anyway, off-topic...

    That's pretty neat. Where is that?

    - Added car Steam ID sharing in entry list: each car in the entry list can feature multiple GUIDs. Players can share that car (one at once). The name inserted in the entry list is used as driver name.

    One thing from it I find it really amusing is that simracers that spend hundreds upon hundreds on gear constantly keep shedding tears about 5-8 dollar DLCs that come out once every couple months. For real though, if someone is that broke I highly recommend waiting for a sale, they are a thing that exist which you can take advantage of as a customer.

    Red pack was on sale recently for like 2 weeks straight, for 5 dollars, 2 modern Ferrari F1 cars and a laser scanned RBR. For 5 dollars.

    I sh!t you not, DP1, laser scanned nords with a ton of cars for 3 bucks, nay 2.49... let that sink in, there are some mods that are being sold for more and (no disrespect intended) as I'm sure you can see they do not generally contain multiple cars and a laser scanned nords but people slurp it up.

    and the list goes on and on and on, so many times they keep saying you can get stuff for 50% off and they ain't kidding about that, these guys do not simply put one DLC on a sale at once, more often than not all of content goes 50% off during a sale. So if you are a clever girl you can get the entire content for around (lets do some math here for June 22nd which was the recent sale)

    Yes I get that it's a bit lame that you cannot use content that you own against content that you do not, but not like they are asking you to sell your kidney every month to have the privilege to do so and that is the price to pay for an truly open system that has no invasive DRM that checks what piece of content you own in order to prevent theft of content.
