1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I only searched for the KS guys, no way was I gonna sit through all the others but I do remember watching any vid out there when Schumacher was racing and on almost every german one I had wished there were english subtitles

    It constantly amazes me when I discover how many non-native english speakers(/typers) there are here, as you would never really know.

    Makes me feel so incredibly dumb knowing only one language! I try not to complain when i hear interviews or whatever that are not English, as it acts as a reminder me how lucky we are to have it used so commonly around us.

    Also the video feed is used on the big screen(s) with audio on the expo itself and also used for the YT stream.
    If it would have just been a YT stream then it should have been in english.

    Have you tried changing the gearbox. For some reason the default is US spec which is 160 in 3rd 204mph in 4th gear and 255 in 5th! I presume some 80s fuel saving measure, but not very responsive. Brakes are...80s style?

    The p4 is sublime on highlands long. Especially watching back the replay of my awful almost crashing every corner laps (Only driven 4 or 5 times before because my FFB wheel was rattling like a washing machine down the long straights. Turned down the road effect and now it's drivable :) 312 is quite enjoyable as well.

    The f2004 sounds incredible though.

    I don't seem to get any engine damage when over revving the P4, 312 and 250 GTO under default setup (mashing throttle on neutral). Is this expected?

    Ok what has Stefano left out in the change log? Drove the Lotus 49 earlier today only for 5 minutes at the nords cause it felt crap after driving the 67/8 Ferrari which in comparison feels awesome so I retried the lotus what can I say its a different beast altogether now, Bloody fantastic. Final note why are the Ai in these cars sooooo slow!?!?!?!? On 100%

    Dont think more grip, it have less weight.

    If the update made the car gripier, the car could gain more traction, and I didnt see this behaviour.

    Yeah i played with the transmission values, but the 5th-gear overdrive is useless for racing circuits.
    And i drove it only with the (crappy) 90ies street tires, maybe the modern ruber gives an better driving experience. ;)

    Street tires at 34 psi is the sweet spot for me with the 288 GTO.

    Thx, will give it a try. I've only driven it with semis, at optimal psi ofc. And it was a bloody mess.
    Anything to do against that on the brakes instability?
