1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    Yes, it was for pcars2.

    I'm 99,9% sure that support for PC version of the AC is over. Consoles will get some patches after last free dlc pack is released, if needed. We have to accept that our much loved game is reached it's end. We can enjoy it many years to come if we want. Hopefully it achieve same status as GP4, RBR and after 10-15 years of the release, some people still play it. :)

    All their general car models and whatnot should mostly carry over. Obviously they need to be brought into UE4, which isn't just some cut/paste job, but they wont have to start from scratch modeling each and every car again.

    I imagine this mostly applies to tracks as well. There's just no way they'll have developed all those tracks again from scratch(along with several new ones) in such a short period of time.

    The point is that the cars aren't so difficult to drive that people struggle and make lots of mistakes. It's not too difficult to stay with the with the pack(even if just your local pack and not the top guys or whatever) relative to more difficult types of cars.

    Thought so :D

    As I said, I'm not primary a closed-wheel fan, but I have to admit that GT3 combines the best of all worlds. The cars look and sound plenty different from each other, you can pick your favorite brand with it's own heritage, you get realistic "driving aids" (ABS and TC), sprint and endurance is both a thing and you don't need to invest in a manual shifter setup as a simple paddle wheel feels authentic...

    Oh damn, it's gonna be a long wait for summer.

    This is what I thought too. It matches a lot of "cheaper" wheel owners who just have a wheel with paddles and 2 pedals, brake and gas.

    I wonder if we have a chance to get state-saving, so that we could run offline 24h races. Or AI team mates we can accelerate time for. Maybe too much to ask. OTOH since they seem to focus on an offline career - maybe not. I think GT series does that, does Pcars too?

    End...? Nonsense. ;) :) It lives as long as you like to play it. Just that no new official content will arrive anymore does not mean the game is at an end. I know that AC1 lives a very vivid and healhty life on my rig, since I still play it frequently even after the Laguna Seca update.

    Or are you not playing your games, just collecting them? :)

    BTW, RD mod departmentent also says anything but "end".

    You can try to do the same thing with SDK (ksEditor) tool. I am getting near to impresive number of hours of SDK. #levelup

    No, the end for AC. I actually mean that Kunos won’t release any new content and updates to game anymore, so it’s the end from their side. I will personally play a lot AC and also continue my modding career with game.

    I’m not even 100% sure if i will buy ACC, because i have played enough GT3 cars on AC, Pcars/Pcars2, Raceroom... Rain, night and offical license is not reason why i should spend 50€ for new game.

    Congrats to Kunos!Im happy for this great team and gt3 and racing lovers...but as I am SP player mostly non GT3.I'm kind of disapointed.AC is dead for official addons and this new game is nothing to be hyped about at least for my kind of players...but I will buy it just to try it and support this awesome team like I did every single DLC.IMO it would be a lot better if ACC has other racing cars then GT3...we have them already haha
