1. Do you need support for Assetto Corsa Competizione? Please use the proper forum below and ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Logs" folder in your c:\users\*youruser*\AppData\Local\AC2\Saved. The "AppData" folder is hidden by default, check "Hidden items" in your Windows view properties. If you report a crash, ALWAYS zip and attach the WHOLE "Crashes" folder in the same directory. Do not post "I have the same issue" in an existing thread with a game crash, always open your own thread. Do not PM developers and staff members for personal troubleshooting and support.
  2. As part of our continuous maintenance and improvements to Assetto Corsa Competizione we will be releasing small updates on a regular basis during the esports season which might not go through the usual announcement process detailing the changes until a later version update where these changes will be listed retrospectively.
  3. If ACC doesn't start with an error or the executable is missing, please add your entire Steam directory to the exceptions in your antivirus software, run a Steam integrity check or reinstall the game altogether. Make sure you add the User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione folder to your antivirus/Defender exceptions and exclude it from any file sharing app (GDrive, OneDrive or Dropbox)! The Corsair iCue software is also known to conflict with Input Device initialization, if the game does not start up and you have such devices, please try disabling the iCue software and try again. [file:unknown] [line: 95] secure crt: invalid error is a sign of antivirus interference, while [Pak chunk signing mismatch on chunk] indicates a corrupted installation that requires game file verification.
  4. When reporting an issue with saved games, please always zip and attach your entire User/Documents/Assetto Corsa Competizione/Savegame folder, along with the logs and the crash folder (when reporting related to a crash).

    I can't imagine for a second that Stefano & Marco are going to allow some average type of sim out into the world. Look what they did with no budget! They've never BS'ed us or over-hyped anything that I'm aware of. I can't see them starting to pull crap like that now.
    I don't know how much clearer Kunos can be right now. It's a racing simulation of the 2018 Blancpain GT series. I don't understand why anyone would think NASCAR is going to end up in ACC. AC won't be removed from my system either. When I want to have a Ferrari F40 vs. Lamborghini Diablo VT race I'll turn to AC. When I want to get serious for a moment and go race my GT3 in ACC, I'll load ACC. Heck, people are still playing LFS...I don't see why anyone wouldn't keep playing AC. RSS just started releasing a GT1 series DLC pack! A3DR (and I pray aphidgod) aren't even halfway thru releasing their Need For Speed pack. AC has the best physics of any PC sim I have, so I'm going to continue playing the $h1t out of it. :D

    Also, I've heard a few comments here and on other forums talking about not wanting to spend $60 on a sim racing title with such a strict focus (solely Blancpain GT series). I just shake my head at those comments. There isn't one person reading this thread who hasn't spent $60+ at the pub for one single night...or $60+ for one single dinner...or $60+ for one single hooker. If people are concerned that Kunos provides additional titles in the future we need to make sure they have a successful present.

    Anyone who doesn't like gt3 after seeing what the UE4 + KS is able to do will say, what the heck, they are street cars with wings after all, I'm in.
    Of course they could not expect to sell the same amount of copies just for a "one series game" but I bet KS think ahead.

    They're cooler in person, I have to admit! Each with their own unique sound, something I don't think AC has fully captured yet.

    Getting up close with them after a 24 hour race is awesome, seeing the filth and damage etc.

    I have that same Logitech keyboard so I can play AC more easily. Actually a lot of AC players I know have that same keyboard. Logitech should have considered selling AC + that keyboard as a bundle.

    Agree on the most, but...I've never used a dime on a hooker or been with one. Maybe I'm not old enough:D

    AC is staying on my rig for years too, I've just got back into trackmaking, doubt we'll be able to port tracks to ACC right away.
